'Farridge' just resigned as UKIP leader. Let's hope the new leader has a funny name that J O'B can mispronounce or that's a chunk of his act gone.

And long may it be discussed. This is a fundamental issue that could terminally affect an entire generation, long after many of the swing Leave voters have passed away.

A legal.challenge has been issued by anonymous backers, demanding that the supremacy of Parliament be affirmed, and for ratification by MPs as a matter of due process.

This populist outcome must be discussed at every turn.
Why can't you confine these in-depth off-topic discussions to political threads? Others do.

Nick Ferrari lectured callers this morning, telling them why Brexit was the right decision- he would not listen to any other view. JOB's first caller got a belittling lecture pointing out how wrong he was. Not a day for calling the station I think - unless you want to be told how stupid you are

I missed that, why has 'Farridge' thrown in the towel?
With so many MP's resigning Parliament will be empty soon.

Evans is an easy name but she is still suspended.
Funny name alert would be Paul Nuttall, the Ade Edmundson lookalike

Sorry, not interested in political soapboxing on a chit-chat thread.

He's not an MP. The discussion over his leaving and what happens next could be interesting but it will have to wait for a programme hosted by somebody else before I will listen. 0Brain has so many axes to grind he's not capable of talking about it rationally. And I'll give Abbot a miss too, the whinging old misery.

Agree absolutely. The thread has been turned into a place, for the odd remain supporter to air their grievances, about how unfair life is. It's not the place. There is a separate thread and a whole section for that kind of guff.

Good stuff from JOB.

The 2 Dogs have caught up with the car they were chasing and have no idea what they want to do with it. And have run away.

The only possible response from a sane person is Relentless Heavy Sarcasm.....

He's going to serve out his term as an MEP. I love the idea that he could become a kind of guru to EU politicians who want to follow our example and quit the sinking ship.

TBF the content coming out from LBC is a relentless stream of politics so on a LBC thread it's kinda tricky not to talk about what we hear. My opinion anyway. If you have an alternative topic don't be shy in posting it.
Just moaning about what others post but not offering an alternative doesn't advance anything.

Sorry, I was out yesterday and most of today. Nose

I am sure I have never listened to any of Lucy's shows all the way through I am usually watching Casualty at that time. Can't be bothered to podcast.
A little bit of Lucy B goes a long way

As I said nothing has changed - I am still Mr Sexy.
Proof/links, pretty please

Nigel Farage resigned during James' show. That was handy !! He has even managed to slot in Boris

I am enjoying much of LBC's Brexit coverage - but not JOB's. Once again, totally negativity, whilst depicting himself as the Champion of the vulnerable & downtrodden.

Happy Monday to you All x

To give Farridge his due, he's spectacular at taking the p*ss out of them.

Why don't you take your spamming of the LBC thread to the politics section. You have written post after post, since the referendum and they barely relate to LBC.

I would imagine that most others who post on here, are at least as well informed as you are. However, they don't feel the need to continually post their views in this thread; there is even an LBC Politics thread; why don't you post your drivel there?
I think you are a bit rude to call the contributions drivel
I cannot find this LBC politics thread

Fair enough, but whilst we're about it I don't think anyone has resigned as an MP yet. The Labour lot resigned from the Shadow Cabinet but that's about the height of it.

But I think we try to keep it in the context of various presenters' attitudes and opinions. Solid slabs of info. which are not in the lightweight spirit of the thread would be better in a forum where they would be read with interest and debated in a similar fashion.

I'm really enjoying JOB'S Brexit coverage. It's slanted, of course, but so it is from NF and all the others.

Oh Lord this Andrea is getting on my wick
More I hear her and read about her the less I am impressed.
Over the weekend the pro EU speech she made a couple of years ago has magically disappeared from her website and all the pro EU comments too.
An opportunist who has so far dealt exclusively in clichés and plattitude
Sunlit uplands FGSs
