Thanks. I kinda wondered that.

At the moment, Nick doesn't do his own show in his own slot.

I can see that he would go for a different style when he is covering other slots, but in the past they have still been entertaining. Not at the moment though.

Back to LBC output.
Not sure what to make of all this extra money for lending being given to the banks by Carney. How long til this money comes back?”

This was a case of an Irishman using Dutch tax laws and so nothing to do with the UK.

No, they haven't been at all entertaining

His Friday & Saturday shows, this week, apart from the sounds, were identical to his stand in shows.......'Twas all about the idiot Brexiters.

He has really taken the results of the Referendum to heart. Let's hope he doesn't become equally attached to The Chiltern report

Yes, the famous report on the Chilcot Inquiry. Seven years in the making...

Oh dear. Maybe he and Ken Clarke could have fun on air following a liquid lunch.

I did try although I don't listen to Brian in the mornings.

Two posts from earlier which received absolutely no response whatsoever - this is often the case with my posts.

#5070 - from early this morning and #5056 from late last night.

Not to worry, Nd. I remember being ignored a lot in the early days.
The late-departed Burly Bear organised a group hug.
From which I'm still recovering...

It will be interesting to see where you are going with this.
My friends have a wide variety of views. Very different to mine. That is very common.....in fact I am going to say that this is entirely normal for individuals who have a strong interest in Politics.

But it seems you disagree. Maybe your friends are just like you.

What is interesting is that a serial JOB doubter on the forum was entirely consistent in calling JOB a Socialist in almost every sentence and in attacking the Lefty/Liberal nature of the 10am to 4pm schedule. It has been other attackers that have been all over the place in their assessments and it seems likely to me that they "just don't like him".

I missed both of these and must pay more attention.

I love spotting regular callers.
The woman that said (as though reading from a script after taking Mogadon ) "Somebody.........took out a Mortgage.......On My Home " sometimes pops up and does not seem to realise that she is a star.

Another favourite is the guy with a strong North East Accent who has "doubts" about the ongoing quest for Women's Equality. If a movie is made featuring VIZ cartoon character Sid the Sexist, this guy is a shoe in for the voice track.

Not listened to LBC today (or any other radio) but I caught Steve Allans show last night and he was on fire, just brilliant, insults everywhere and I do like the way he reveals the workings behind the scenes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Did you know he met Cliff.

I wish we got a repeat from 1 till 4 in the afternoon.

Yes. I think so.
He has my attention immediately. I would like him to be kept on the phone longer and for his position to be "examined".

Perhaps, then, in the words of Nick Abbot, he could be "corrected".
This quote is, of course, taken from the wonderful Stanley Kubrick film 'The Shining'.

Of course, as long as you agree with the blue rinse brigade.

Important question from Clive:
Can we speed things up?

Theo thinks we can. But is not saying how soon? Should Cameron start packing his suitcases now?
Just leave out enough shirts for another week.

I thought he did a great job when he did a 3 hour show last year and all the "Phone Farage" segments of Ferrari's show have been a great listen too.

Would love to see him replace Stig Abell on a Sunday afternoon.”

Well, looks like my wish was partially granted! Farage presenting an LBC show on a Sunday. Shame it's only a cover and not permanent, but I'll take what I can get! Thanks Ben Frow!
