Its not Twitter. It's been advertised on Twitter but it's an Internet forum. I got a PM about it I assume others did?

If people enjoy reading all the boring repetitive "monitoring" messages that used to be here, then its great. For anyone that actually wants to discuss things discussed on LBC, it seems a waste of time.

Steve fulminating against shoppers who let their kids eat goods in shops before they've paid for them, even if they are honest and present the empty wrapper at the checkout. "It's thieving!" he kept shrieking. "Thieving!" I'd love to know how many times he said 'thieving' in the last half hour of the show.

Morning all.

One texter tried to argue with him but then quickly backed down and apologised when Fanny harangued him. Anyway, Fanny knows that nobody is honest just the same as he knows that all beggars secretly live in lovely homes and amass a fortune.

Also heard that Fanny is still dragging Claire McAlpine and her parents through the mud even though it is totally irrelevant to anything.

I woke up to that demented rant - it was like Kenneth Williams hollering "Infamy, infamy..."

He then launched into a grim little diatribe about the Are You Being Served remake: “One of the characters has now become black. I mean, how does that happen? If they’re doing a remake of something, you know, why have they not cast Mr Humphries as Chinese or something like that? So, everybody else seems to be normal, except one of them, who’s become a black character. That doesn’t make any sense, does it?”

And on Sunday's "In Conversation with Myself", he told Erasure's Andy Bell: "I used to love finishing with people, and then the making-up bit... And I'l tell you what used to turn me on even more than anything: making them cry. If somebody cried, I thought, 'Oh, they really do like me.’"

I blame the spike - in Fanny's blood sugar levels - which catapults him into a frenzy of nonsense and ignorance at times.

Bit cheeky plugging another forum on this one.

It sounds like he needs therapy.

Why would Nick Ferrari ask Sadie Khan three times about open rear platforms on buses? Of all the questions to ask the guy who looks likely to be the next Mayor of London that one really is daft. Who cares?

Jeez. This auto text thing is going to get me in real trouble one day. Last night on another thread I thought I had typed I have to convince my wife. What appeared on the screen was that I have to convict my wife

Benedict Cumberbatch maybe? Emma Thompson? Or perhaps Jude Law?

I'm sure it will be. JOB mentioned that listeners could help this colleague (his favourite presenter, apparently!), so voting must surely be it.

JOB's confirmed that this is indeed it.

He really bigged up Steve, too!

Couldn't do much else, could he! I've voted for Ken Bruce. I haven't listened to him for years but the crowing will be unbearable if, by some chance, Steve wins.

I voted for KB too! Anyone rather than SA. I see that the SA fan club is out in full force though, leaving messages of support.

Ken Bruce would be my choice if I bothered to vote. He comes across as a very pleasant and amiable bloke on the radio.

Almost always flip over from O'Brien at 10.30a.m. for his Pop Master quiz.

As for Allen, err...No thank you.

All this SA love in on JOB is giving me indigestion.

Award him for long service to the radio industry by all means, but voice !!!!!?? NO !

Fair point! JOB did make reference to a 'spat' between them a couple of years ago, though.
