I'm sure he'd have something to say if they weren't both employed by LBC. I don't know if there's a written but I'm sure there's an unwritten embargo on slagging off fellow presenters.

Can I just thank those of you took the time to turn up and expend so much thought and effort in commenting on my post 7433; a flippant little missive in which I made a general reference to lefties. I wasn't aware that it was a term of abuse, and I referred to no individual by name. The ferocity and unpleasant tone of the personal rebukes makes me wonder which of us really deserves censure,

Topic closed - as far as I'm concerned anyway.

Those who live by the sword... but even after all that, those blinkers are clearly still working very well.

A certain ex leader of UKIP is a presenter on the station - he still cannot restrain his vitriolic attacks on him.

The reason he did not mention the Hopkins episode is because the migrants behaved exactly as Ms Hopkins said they would, and her reporting of it was not inflammatory.

It was yes. All things changed when Queens Mary's Sidcup and the QE Woolwich [Army, but took NHS] became more involved. All the equipment was owned by Greenwich and Bexley AHA and all hospitals within the group were given a day to come down and take whatever they wanted.

I rather liked the sister on the surgical unit, but apparently she was not classed as equipment - I did get a rather pristine Brompton ventilator though,

The reason being Brexit of course. The UKIP idiot working class wanting schools to better themselves is not on.

I used to like Nick but he seems to have had a humourectomy.

J O'B varies depending on the topic.

Two things:

1) "Lefties" is no more of a term of abuse than "Tories". However, I think "lefties" isn't specific enough for what you were talking about. "Smug liberals" is a better phrase to use.

2) At least your post provoked some discussion- the amount of posts has quadrupled today compared to yesterday!

Completely agree. He can be an excellent host, but only when he isn't talking about one of his hobby horses. Unfortunately, his hobby horses include Brexit, Junior Doctors, Immigration and Schools, which just about encompasses LBC's entire range of topics!

If it is it will be interesting to see what side of the fence he sits as he had a very good private education himself.

I am surprised that there has been no comment that J O'B was talking about breastfeeding today !

Perhaps all of those on here who said they had given up on him weren't fibbing!

Give NA another chance. Just caught up with a podcast from last w/e and he appears to be almost over his post-Brexit angst. Not totally, but a couple of LOL moments.

I was thinking about that when I was driving home tonight and wondered if I should mention it. J O'B seems to have a most unusual passion for breastfeeding, believing in mother's milk rather than substitutes. I've never known a man so consumed with the real thing.

I feel sure Wolfie's repetitive posts were quite entertaining.

For those suffering from memory loss.

It's certainly a way of keeping the old thread ticking over. I'll have to think up some more invective provoking words and phrases.
