LOL
I'd say Farage is playing out his own fantasies with his panto act!

Like the General Election a majority in a constituency may vote for one party, but the Government is the other one. So, a majority of constituents may have voted for Remain and therefore the MP can justifiably vote against Brexit.

It depends on your bench mark, he does enjoy insulting some people but I would suggest he does it in a polite manner and a bit tongue in cheek, never heard him compare someone's face to an animal.

Fair enough, but I'd suggest he doesn't. I think he's absolutely vile.

I'd also suggest that the likely benchmark is often whether one agrees with his views or not.

My first time on this thread but I had to come on to say that I agree with your description of JOB today (and many other days too) but especially today. I was aghast at just how much of a pumped up and very odd sounding, childlike (eg. name-calling) almost moronic person was spouting such bile today. I usually give him a miss and switch off after his first rant of a morning but today I thought I would listen and see how he develops this particular topic. He is in need of another holiday.

Listened to Iain Dale later on - what a pleasure that was in comparison!

You seem to be suggesting that Farage succumbed to the most humiliating interview of his whole career because he is too polite.
This is funny. Farage is an aggressive bully who finally bit off more than he could chew.
He was asked what the difference was between having a Romanian family and a German one as neighbours.
Farage replied: "You know what the difference is".
Is there an explanation for this astonishing reply other than: Nigel Farage is absolutely repulsive??

Farage was also asked about "feeling uncomfortable" on hearing people on the train not speaking English. He is asked if his German wife happens to speak German when she chats to her relatives. Farage is struggling.

This is now a "Car Crash" interview and is reported as such across the media.
You have not disputed that Patrick O'Flynn rushes into shot to say the interview has "massively" overrun.......after 19 minutes.......LOL........a fact clearly unknown to Farage who tries to continue.

A political interview is not a kindergarten. You have clearly not been watching Newsnight for the past 20 years......”

A lot more people have not been watching Newsnight...

I appreciate that.

I just think the MP's should vote for how their constituents voted regardless of their own personal views. This is obviously at odds with what we ask them to do on a daily basis because we vote them in and trust them to make judgements for us, but on this occasion they know exactly what the voters want.

It was always the case that a referendum was only advisory and not binding, Unfortunately a lot of people don't realise that.

So are you saying that if the MP is pro-Brexit, but the majority of their constituents wanted Remain, the MP should vote to Remain ?

That helpful little pamphlet the Government spent £19m in sending to us said said@ "This is your decision. The Government will implement what you decide."; the implication being that they would abide by the majority decision.

The government has to stick to the law just like the rest of us.
What today has shown is that our government has messed up even before the first hurdle.

IMO the government messed up when they took us into the EU under the guise of the Common Market. We never voted to go in but we're having to fight tooth and nail to come out.

Why a general election? What a waste of money. Labour won't get in.

I normally steer clear of the political stuff on this thread but I have to say that Farage chucking his teddies on Ferrari's show this morning was funnier than anything Steve came out with in the preceding 3 hours.

Theresa May will include Brexit in the Tory manifesto, which, if they form the next Government, will give it a mandate to trigger Article 50. It will be fascinating to see how Labour deal with it. Their current MPs are mainly anti-Brexit but many of them represent constituencies which voted in large numbers to leave the EU. They face the possibility of seeing their voters opting for the Tories or, more likely, UKIP.

Morning all.

Yes, brilliant show with Nick, this morning. That call from a prisoner, sitting in his cell, phoning from contraband phone......Wow !!!

His researchers got it wrong about the child funeral payments, though. Funeral directors waive their own fees for children's funerals and those parents, who are in receipt of benefit, are awarded a grant for the burial/cremation & extras by the state.

Happy Thursday to you All x”

BIB. Indeed it was, and how revealing to know the prison officers bring in the 'goods'. Makes you wonder who should be really locked up !!

Have been quite irritated by Nick Ferrari's tone this morning , glad that there have been a couple of women who have resisted his browbeating/hectoring

Oh dear. Just heard a trailer for James O'Brien who asked why people were getting "cross" about yesterdays events regarding Article 50. I wonder what pompous flight of fancy he will take his loyal band of adoring acolytes on this morning?

I find it incredible that they seem to hang on his every word as if he is some sort of messiah. I suppose he is, if you are keen on hypocrisy, virtue-signalling and toys being lobbed well and truly out of the pram.

I would listen but my conscience won't let me. He makes me come out in a rash and I start to have an urgent need to take a shower. Looks like he should do the same occasionally from his scruffy appearance on his hilarious, beard-twisting Facebook rants.

I await today's effort with barely concealed hilarity. I'm looking forward to the return of erstwhile LBC presenter James Whale to TalkRADIO with a somewhat more optimistic expectation of amusing, professional and informative broadcasting - C

Could be another lively one from J O'B this morning. I'll give it half an hour and if he's as unpleasant as he was yesterday, I'll seek my entertainment elsewhere.

I immediately switch to Julia Hartley-Brewer on TalkRADIO who is a very much more acommodating and interesting presenter. She actually takes callers. And engages with them.

Do you have an objection to a British court to rule on British law?
