I just feel it in the water all the so far silent millions are going to come out of their houses en masse in a few days time and vote Trump their next President.

Just like they did here in the UK to win a Brexit.

Ok that's MY heed on the block, anyone else with the nerve to suggest it?.
I agree with you and I sincerely hope it happens - neo conservatives and entitled liberal elite will be fuming. Unfortunately millions of Americans will be called all sorts of names like what happened here but it will be worse because it will also be the British throwing insults who stuck their noses into an election that was none of their concern and never did spare a thought to how much the average American actually feels and are too arrogant to find out.

I can see why people might vote for someone who seems to be (or pretends to be) anti-establishment and why a large group of people feel disenfranchised, etc etc.

However, what I cannot see if why anyone would be pleased to see Trump as the man to represent that group and support him. After all that he's said and done - the utterly hideous '-isms' that he has pandered to and expressed - how is it possible to see this man as anything other than a vile human being?

This is nothing to do with Clinton and it's not a defence of her, but supporting a man who is had been so blatantly disgusting and outrageous is beyond me. Under any circumstances.

Steve's interview with Ewan McGregor fell through (Steve's fault). He (or one of his minions) must have run off pages of his CV from Wiki or IMDb because he did several minutes reading out EM's list of credits and telling us the plot of his latest film. Waste not, want not!

His 'guess' (spoiler) about Laura Whitmore leaving Strictly was right. Of course it was!

Morning all.

"Charity Chuggers trying to save gay whales in Slovakia" got both barrels from Steve this morning.

If only he would 'guess' it being Ed Balls.
Still pronouncing Ola Jordan's name wrongly, no doubt that's intentional ..

I just don't get why LBC felt the need to fly Nick and his team all the way to the USA to do this week's show what honest difference is it making to his show?.
He could have done exactly the same show back here, [talk to American political commentators over a phone] he keeps telling us what time it is there but who cares it has no relevance to us back here at all.

Ian Collins was shocking last night. He is OK discussing benign topics - maybe 5p Carrier Bags in Supermarkets.....or How Many Different Wheelie Bins Should We Have.

We have 2 new presenters on LBC. Matt Fry and Maajid Nawaz. Both of them (and Andrew Pearce) have pushed Ian Collins down the LBC pecking order and both have raised the bar considerably. (I have not heard enough of Matt Stadlen to comment).
Ian Collins should listen to Ian Payne. An excellent broadcaster who knows his limitations and tackles serious topics (Brexit....the USA Election) with a slightly self depreciating style.

Collins is seemingly not aware of his limitations and a serious topic quickly drifts into little angry snipes against so called Liberal Elites and "Snowflakes".
A Snowflake is an object that is so lightweight it barely exists. Ian Collins is a Snowflake presenter.

Beautiful example of just how deluded and stupid Trump is when the clips of Obama speaking and Trumps imaginary version of events.
Should be on the lbc website soon.

One could argue the same thing outside a court house in the UK. For all we know they could be standing outside their Leicester Square studios - unless they can grab somebody relevant, and put them on the air live.

Out of interest is there anybody who reads this list that is American and is able to vote in the elections?

Aw, you can't begrudge Nick a little perk. At least it's not costing us anything, not like the scores - possibly hundreds - of staff the Beeb have sent over there.

Yes, especially, as he doesn't watch the programme .....He is receiving the DS Spoiler result from his texter/twitter fans

Hold your hats on - it will be Trump/Clinton chat, all day long with a smidgeon of Brexit.....

What a surprise, James show is completely one- sided, peppered with Trump insults.

I agree with Billy that there might well be a 'shock' Trump win. Personally, I couldn't possibly comment as to the rights & wrongs......I don't live in America.

Happy Monday to you All x

I'm not sure of the newsworthiness of the breakfast show having reporters out asking Brits who they support. It doesn't matter.

I'm not that bothered but I would enjoy a Trump win purely on the grounds that it will annoy people with whom I disagree politically on most other things. The poor BBC presenters after the GE and Brexit, struggling not to look aghast were icing on the cake.

How do we know the two clips are connected?
Because it has been shown on tv and it has been discussed to death on the US networks.
Trump himself tells us what incident he is talking about.
Numerous newspaper articles about it. Trump campaign workers trying to defend the indefensible.
That's how I know they are connected
Of course if you know why they are not connected then please say so and tell lbc to get the error on their site removed.

Well actually I couldn't care less if they're connected or not. I just do not believe everything that is said against Trump.

If I were American I'd still vote for him. And I hope he wins.

What is said about trump that you don't believe?
What has been said that is factually provable to be a lie?
Time for you to redress the balance of all these nasty people dissing the Donald.

Listened to the last 10 mins of JO'B...a perfectly reasonable and polite man was talking about the judges ruling and article 50.
O'B asks have you read the whole ruling?
Caller, no I have read a synopsis.
O'B just cut him off!
Next!!!
