Perhaps next week Bev could bring her husband in again, to tell us all what she thinks.

Have no idea why where somebody lives should affect their views. I live in Windsor and I voted for Yes in the independence ref in 2014. I am a Republican and would like the head of state to be elected instead of relying on a genetic lottery as to who we get.
Am I a hypocrite for holding these views because of where I happen to live?
My point is to keep this LBC related is that JOB is entitled to live where he wants and not change his views.
No of course you're not
You WOULD be one if you didn't say what you thought of course

Farage alert! Nigel has joined the hapless and ill informed Hosken on air now. Hosken has absolutely no idea what she is talking about on almost any topic. Who on earth thought that this appointment was a good idea?

Yes, his views on "sugary drinks" etc last week were absolutely invaluable. How did we all survive without his words of wisdom?

Petrie Hosken is not even trying to run a balanced show. Lots of 'Project Fear' and asking 'Nigel' his opinion.

Steve Allen doesn't allow Don Black to get a word in edgeways. How is this considered an interview?
Steve and Don have been friends for many years
Don knows exactly what he's like and handles him accordingly
And as this must be at least the fourth in conversation he's done with Steve he's obviously got no problem with him

Farage doing well in the interview with Petrie.

Taking about spin doctors and career politicians trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

Petrie has confirmed via her 'Petrie Hosken - BROADCASTER' Facebook page that suggestions she is being replaced by Hopkins are incorrect.

She didn't say she isn't leaving though...

The test transmissions for the new Talkradio have started with both Iain Lee and JHB talking about their shows
Interestingly still no info forthcoming about who's doing overnights
With three ex LBC presenters already on there I'm wondering if a fourth may be waiting in the wings
I definitely think they might be going to give LBC a run for their money
To check if you can get it might be worth a while giving your DAB radio a rescan

Some late news. Nick Abbot was 'discombobulated' last night.
I shouted 'Noooooo' at the radio when I heard him say that !!

The thing is, there have been times when I have wanted to use the word 'discombobulated' because it was appropriate but I just can't say it anymore ...

I want to hear the facts for and against not bogged down in immigration etc.
I think LBC and its presenters would do everyone a great service if they broadened the debate and made a point of keeping away from immigration. It is dominating any discussion (all media, not just LBC) and there is so much more to it than that. JOB occasionally starts his discussions with a 'don't bother calling me if all you want to say is ...' maybe that needs to happen more often.

(G-S I agree with your Michael Gove comments. Good article by him without the scare mongering. )

Petrie's just had a caller on who says all humanity should be wiped out because people eat meat. Then followed by a man who wants to get rid of all the dogs. These are the sort of calls we want in an animal rights discussion. Ian Collins would have loved both.

Fanny now admits to worrying about popping his cloggs.

Just catching up on his show from this morning and he mentioned the amount of celebrities we have lost this year already. Fanny now thinks he has to check himself in the mirror every day to see if he is alright.

Made me laugh when he talked about Graham Kerr and how the camera always used to go really close up on his mouth eating at the end. To us that was always the prime reason for watching his shows as I remember, seeing that ridiculously over the top expression of enjoyment on his face.

I must say I do still find some of fanny's witterings highly amusing.

Did the caller want to wipe out all the animals who eat meat too?

Well, look on the bright side - then we wouldn't have to worry about 'Project Fear' etc. etc. etc.

That would be the one upside.

Petrie Hosken was banging on with 'Nigel' ( as she calls him) about how Britain would be able to negotiate 'free' trade agreements with lots of countries earlier. Starting by leveraging our 'special' relationship with the US I guess: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/...f-it-leaves-eu

Might be better then signing up to this which Brussels seems to have cut us out of i bring you TTIP.

Like you i post a link from the Guardian to avoid accusations of bias

http://www.theguardian.com/business/...aper-with-them
.
Green MP Caroline Lucas said that access to documents on “this hugely significant trade deal” was necessary before UK parliamentarians were asked to vote on it. “But the bad news is that a cloak of secrecy still surrounds TTIP. If the same rules apply here in the UK as they do in Brussels, which is what the minister is implying, then MPs will be bound by a confidentiality agreement if they want to see the text,” Lucas said. “This opaque process, which shuts citizens out of this crucial debate, is profoundly undemocratic.”

Nigel Farage has talked about the negative impact on Nick Ferraris show before.

Though think the discussion should now switch to the LBC politics forum.

Dunno what all the fuss is about trade with non EU countries. Last twelve years I must have had contracts in at least fifteen different countries in three continents. So many red herrings on LBC and the rest of the media.

I am confused now. Does 'Nigel' expect us to reach better terms than the EU ? Or does he no longer want a trade agreement at all ?

That is a fair point of view i think there will be lots of red Herrings before the debate on LBC or anywhere else is finished.

I suspect though we will still be in though that is not my point of view,i think it is the one that will prevail.
