I can . A self-imposed state which has boringly been lavished on listeners as a prerun to his show.

Weird fact - Steve is always going on about how much he loves calamine lotion. He's thinking about buying some so he can smell it.

I think it brings back childhood memories for some. It was used for just about everything that needed a topical solution. Chickenpox, sunburn ...

I'm just going to wait for the exit polls at midnight then I'm off to bed. I'd hang on if it was a Brit election but I'm not that bothered about the US.

Off to bed now.

I cannot abide Trump, but I would love him to win just for the meltdown at 1000. I would break my self imposed exile just for the first incandescent 15 minutes.

'Hello Katie on line 1'.

Almost ready to open the champagne. What an absolutely glorious night this could turn out to be. Looking forward to 10am and if the bedwetting we're getting from Owen Jones is a portent of things to come, there might be more needed in the next few days.

LBC staffers are even looking forward to the O'Brien meltdown! LBC just tweeted: "James O'Brien is back from 10am. This is going to be unmissable".
