I heard a couple of hours with Iain and Shelagh and it sounded as though LBC were having a good night. When I dropped off Farage and Salmond were at it hammer and tongs.

Cannot wait for 10am when an ashen-faced, trembling J O'B is helped into the studio! Poor James; a hat-trick of disappointment after the GE and Brexit.

Morning all.

Katie has just tweeted:

Tissues to the @LBC studio for 10am this morning please

This is looking like a momentous result. Two fingers to the establishment etc.

Caller to Ferrari earlier talking mentioning the voice of the common people and referring rather amusingly to O'Brien as 'the ten o'clock assassin.'

Trump's just taken Wisconsin according to Sky News. He's now on 258.

Clinton has conceded. Wow, simply didn't see that coming.

I thought ID and SF were excellent throughout the night. Salmond was as obnoxious as ever - having now wrongly predicted 4 elections/referenda he refuses to admit he made a mistake. Never mind Alex, you can still continue as Svengali to Ms. Sturgeon.

Tempted to tune in to Jim O'B this morning.

Well well well.

I heard that - I got the impression that Ferrari was struggling not to laugh or agree

I suspect the Anti-Trump brigade will not accept the democratic decision with good grace.
The term Remoaners has really caught on so we now need a new similar name for the bad losers over the US election (maybe one at 10am?).

Sales of bricks and barbed wire will soar.
Might only be for four years
The UK have dropped from first to second place in the Which Country Has The Stupidest Electorate competition.

That'll be Canada building a wall to keep out the hoardes of liberal elite who've declared their intention of moving there if Trump won.

Word on Twitter from Clinton HQ is that Cher and Lady Gaga are in tears. Aw bless.

Oh I don't know, the Germans are not exactly jumping up and down about Frau Merkels insane policies. In France, they thought it couldn't get any worse when they ousted Sarkozy, but they elected Monsieur Hollande who has managed to achieve the lowest presidential ratings in French history.
Italy, well that's a continually revolving door, 50 Prime Ministers in as many years.

The new political train has left the station 'BanglaRoad' but I'm afraid you're still standing at the station clutching your teddy and a pack of tissues

They were excellent, but I think Sheila was a little taken aback towards the end and was sounding flustered. Salmond just came across as a bit of a tit - with his record, punditry is not going to be a career move for him.

NIck Ferrari was in shock at 5am. The verbal equivalent of a Rabbit caught in the headlights.
The first caller went on a long and noisy rant that "we are sick of Immigration". Ferrari was trying to bring him back to the reasonable middle ground.
Huh? Nick Ferrari is nervous about the fall out from the odious and relentless Nick Ferrari shtick? The sound of a man Backtracking for Little England.

There will be no such problem at 10am. JOB is not a flake.

Isn't it great that a handful of posters on this thread are telling market researchers that they don't listen to JOB......even though they listen every day.....and then post about it.

You realise what that means?

It means that the claim about JOB's listening numbers will have to be sharply revised upwards.

A cartoon one........or a corrupt one
It wasn't much of a choice, imagine us having to choose between either Corbyn or Blair

So if Farrage has now become 'Farridge' & 'Garage' to JOB, what is 'The Donald' going to become 'Dump', 'Hump' or 'Chump'.........I guess we'll find out by 10.15 (post morning meltdown monologue)

I expect major political changes there too and EU referendums to follow in both.
