I'm not sure Tom Watson should press for answers on whether Gove was the source of the allegations. It makes it implicit that the Queen did say what she is alleged to have said about the EU - which the Queen denies.

Well, she would, wouldn't she........

Send Gove to the Tower !!

There's no doubt that LBC will discuss this in minute detail.......Over & over, again

I really enjoyed Ferrari eviscerating that dopey student rep. earlier.
It was fantastic, wasn't it? I was listening on my way to work and grinning as he pulled her argument to pieces. The student had no argument whatsoever and that was evident as she faltered and asked him to repeat questions whilst trotting out the same vague point over and over again. Ferrari seemed to get quite annoyed with her at the end, and when he said "Do you have any idea how stupid you look?" he was saying what the listeners were thinking.

It's always good to hear dozy people with attention seeking views get ripped to shreds by Ferrari as they attempt to defend these views on national radio. It was clear that even the student didn't seem to completely believe in what she was saying.

I thought the interview was very reminiscent of when Nick laid into that "Plane Stupid" protester last year. Today was another victory for common sense.

Well Done Nick!

The interview is on the LBC website, and can be heard here.

But it was so disappointing to find that a student at Clare College 1) Didn't know what she was talking about and 2) Peppered each sentence she uttered with 'you know'.

The same woman apparently refused to condemn ISIS because she claimed it might be "Islamophobic". As Nick would say, what a load of cobblers.

Not really, apart from being on the porky side. Steve was a bit of a looker at that age.

And now.

Taking into account all his health problems, facially barely recognisable?

Ian Collins says that a Tory Minister wanting Pensioners to pick fruit is a "made up story".
In what way is the exact recounting of the words of Owen Patterson (by David Laws and Nick Clegg) a made up story? Patterson's very strange response to the comments in the book does not even deny that the words were used.

Why is Steve working himself into a frothing rage about Top Gear? He's been ranting about it ever since Clarkson got the boot. I don't think he ever watched it; far too butch! Matt LeBlanc - failure, nobody's heard of him, done nothing since Friends.... What about the three Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe for Episodes? I shouldn't ask - it's just another thing on his growing list of things that he rages about. Utterly fascinating in a weird, horrible sort of way!

Morning all.

In Steve World the new Top Gear is "an abject failure, you heard it on here first .. ". Interesting to read that it is still selling well around the world. The Clarkson version launches later this year on Amazon Prime, I do wonder who will pay to watch it?

Well first of course it's the BBC which is a permanent target for Fanny. He seems to have a particular antipathy towards BBC local radio stations although I don't know why.

Second, Fanny did an "in conversation" with Clarkson and Hammond (I can't remember whether it was before or after they had left Top Gear) and therefore they have earned his "loyalty" against the new TG presenters - well at least for now because I thought Chris Evans was "a friend" but Fanny seems to gradually forgetting that.

He did, it was before, however before that Richard Hammond had had a terrible accident during a stunt and was severely injured. At that Steve had nothing but scorn for Richard for attempting the stunt and wished him all kinds of bad luck. It was horrible.

its day after day of muslim bashing, you will never get anything positive about them.

JoB (this morning talking about prison radicalisation) has a very peculiar view of islam that i initially put down to his catholic faith. ive realised that it has more to do with his mentor (charles moore) and his network of similarly ideologically minded media friends who cheer-led - without exception - the iraq war.

Ian Collins with a female caller, last night. She was ranting about the evils of the Mccanns.

He didn't cut her off, despite her, repeatedly, 'pushing her luck !'

Why was James determined to browbeat that former prisoner, this morning ? He was discussing personal experiences with Islamic prisoners ? JO'B picked & picked at him. Why ?

Happy Tuesday to you all x

I think it was ex-EDL leader Tommy Robinson, with whom J O'B has had previous run-ins. I couldn't figure why he kept calling him Stephen but, according to Wiki, that's Robinson's real name. Rather childish, I thought. I wonder, if he ever had the chance to interview Elton John, would he keep calling him Reg?
