A rather good debut post here.

I always look forward to listening to his show around 10pm but I must say that in the first hour last night it was more of a constant whining about Trump and Brexit rather than anything properly droll and mildly amusing. It's also high time he got some brand new sound effects. Plus pretending that he doesn't know what a caller has said when the call ends is just very disingenuous. Also, stop moaning about your bloody studio light automatically going out. Your listeners don't give a damn about it.

Trump is a horrific prospect, but Brexit is just the most fabulous thing the nation ever voted for.

No, you are not the only one. I turn him on with trepidation, twice a week, dreading the 'T' and 'B' words. He used to be my favourite presenter 'bedfellow.' Not any more. I miss the old humorous Nick......

David Cameron has a lot to answer for

Congratulations on your first post

The abuse scandal in Football is the topic coming up next on LBC.

Does this mean that David Mellor will be joining the discussion to go on a long rant saying that these Child Footballers are Liars and Fantasists?

Don't forget endless banker bashing & running down the NHS.

Nick is very repetitive these days & he's also becoming increasingly thin skinned.

If a caller just happens to have a different opinion to him, he becomes churlish & condescending then cuts them off & sneers at them.

He seems like he is going through the motions to me.

We've got Nigel sitting in for Katie. Quite a feather in LBC's cap, given his current status as the President-elect's BFF.

I hope Farage is forced to have a good wash before he is allowed in the LBC studio as he's been crawling around Donald Trump's back passage for weeks.

But he's always been the same on LBC. Before, it was bankers, Farage, Miliband (doesn't HE look weird - ha ha ha) for years. Now he's drones on about Trump and Brexit. instead. And he's always been rude to callers, even most of the sycophantic ones. Ghastly presenter as well as a very lazy one.

he's brill isnt he ..its the sheer joy of his exasperation as another brexit/trump/royals caller ignores everything that nick has been saying for 120 minutes or so and informs us of how the experts have it all wrong ...

Latest ace word (he thinks) to grasp listeners' attention. Moving on ... during his prophecy of unceasing doom and gloom which will inevitably befall us from Exiting, he's been unnervingly reiterating throughout his debates/ conversations, this: "You know I'm right", "I'm usually right", "You'll see I'm right", and other variations thereof, which has been going on for a while. To my horror today, a listener was actually ECHOING his words!!
I can hear a mantra, I can also HEAR the undertones of brainwashing , whether deliberate or not. turn your radio off if its brainwashing your worried about.
neo-fascist he isnt a lot of other things certainly

.. In view of your political quest, I don't suppose the poor or needy of this land, not forgetting refugees would come up to spec on sanitary issues in your estimation? I ask seriously, you consider dropping a second link, to compensate for obviously flawed comment. Why not promote an Eco-friendly product to actually shift stains on underpants for the great unwashed?

Also, reading the first few words of emails that have come in during a break and then saying "Oh no, I've read that already", which he did several times last night (Friday). I think he's just killing time and there are only so many long silences between utterances he can use for that.

If he is just killing time until his pension (which he is seemingly), he may as well be in the civil service. Just tedious, generic radio from someone capable of so much more.

Simply no as if they are employees then those who elected them are the company.

I don't know him of old as I only started listening a few months ago and at that time he was quite amusing (he is still capable of making me cry with laughter occasionally). Then I started to notice the mood fluctuations and the apparent desire to drag everyone down by preaching doom. On Fri night, two guys called in within half an hour of each other and asked him to cheer up and/or change the record - he really didn't like it and promptly talked over them, then didn't give them any more airtime. He must be truly horrible to live with.

Surely any radio platform which gives people like you the opportunity to call in and whine at him is a good thing ................. ?
