How supercilious of the pompous oik. Last week, when he was more conciliatory, J O'B did make it known he was aware of being 'rude' to callers. In one instance, he said, "I'll try not to be rude, but I think I'll have to be .................".
I was left with the impression the powers that be, may have had a word in his shell-like?

It's obvious to me he was was reeled in and not before time. I'm still self-exiled from 10am to 1pm but I'm still offended by whatever he said this morning even though I didn't hear any of it and so is my wife who also didn't hear any of it and was out shopping.

Don't be Ridiculous.

A short section of JOB's long rant shortly after the murder of Jo Cox has been viewed by 3.3 Million people.

And rising.....

JOB can do or say anything he wants.
The only warning he is going to get will be if he starts to gets less attention.

Try to figure it out.....

I have figured it out, there are strict rules and regulations in British broadcasting and he's sailing very close to the wind on this Brexit issue he'll go too far very soon and Nigel or Katy are just waiting for the slot.

What particular rule is he in danger of breaching?
Isn't it marvellous how on this little thread we not only have a poster who can diagnose someone through the medium of media more accurately than doctors who physically examined him and now we have a legal expert too!

'Horlicks, Landis. You may think that grabbing listeners' attention can only be done by using bully-boy shock-jock sensational techniques, however the method becomes all too transparent over time and impresses no-one. Of course, that's how J O'B raises his listening figures, I get that. There are, however, 'classier' ways of going about it. If James was a more confident individual and used his intelligence wisely, dropping his ego - I can't see this happening - he could be more convincing in sustaining any message he wants to put across.

I personally think Ferrari is the master of the classier approach of getting a reaction. When he just falls silent and allows people to pretty much hang themselves, i think it is wonderful. The Natalie Bennett interview was a prime example he didn't go in all guns blazing, just stayed very quiet and then chipped in with the odd question or comment.

Come on Bangla remove the blinkers you may like and even agree with the guff he comes out with daily but you surely must know as well he's an arrogant, self-opinionated individual who's only intention is to use shock-jock tactics and bully everyone he talks to in an attempt to swing them to his way of thinking.

The plain fact is I dislike O'Brien with a passion Landis it has nothing to do with Brexit I had given up on him long before the referendum. I think he is smug, self-opinionated and rude.

Maybe you missed my question Billy so I will ask it again.

Or were you just having a wee rant?

He isn't close to violating any law. And Billy knows that. He's just a little sore cos the Owls are under performing.

I really love how people here seem to know what Management have said and what they propose to do. There must be a lot of flies on the walls

Now, can anyone tell me what Saturday's lottery numbers will be (please PM me as I don't want to have to divide the prize with too many others )

Please don't tell me what I know or don't know Bill.
Obvious you can't say why he is close to the mark but you'll still carry on regardless.
There's a huge difference between what is true and what you would like to be true.

Must have been a long time ago. Here's his Ofcom record since 2009. A few complaints but none upheld.
