O'Brien was doing his usual not sure, bit confused act, followed by the dreary I have two daughters routine - but, oddly, I don't think he mentioned he was 44.

But what really got me annoyed is when O'Brien brags about how 'popular' he is and how he works for other media organisations 'far more highbrow' than LBC. Jeez, you couldn't make it up, could you. The man is unbearable.

I could write a 'profoundly' articulate reply if I could bovvered. But 'basically' - J O'B used to deploy an alarm bell with anyone who overused the word too often - he has mirrors on his shoes pointing unfortunately in an upward direction.

Careful Davy, you're beginning to sound like another poster we had on here!

It was a foghorn and he used it liberally and often.

It's bad enough watching the budget speech on TV and having an eyeful of Theresa May's plunging neckline. Is she wearing it to take people's minds off what George is saying?”

Nick F. couldn't resist mentioning it to the Chancellor!

Morning all.

Well, it was hard to miss. She was in shot all the time Georgie was making his speech.

I loved the tribute to Paul Daniels. Thank you, Mr Ferrari.

When Steve gets hold of the sad news, he'll sap it dry in his usual maudlin way.

J O'B talking on sugary drinks is 'discombobulated' and tells a caller 'to shut the front door'. This presenter has got to find a new script. *rolls eyes*

Very entertaining call just now from Lindsay/Lindsey.

Tests for dementia. I would choose not to know. Unless there is a cure.....or a Lifestyle strategy with proven/convincing results.

I think we are not far off the latter. When I see a Daily Express headline telling me that walking 2 miles every day can prevent many ailments I resist the temptation to roll my eyes....and I go look for the original research.

LBC have invited all the mayoral candidates apart from 1 to their debate next week.

George Galloway has no been invited! Don't understand the logic in that he is a candidate after all, me thinks LBC are upset that he has joined their main rival talkRADIO.

I've just started to switch off JOB when he comes on air and spend a little time with the always interesting BBC World Service. I guess we'll have Julia heartless Brewer to choose from soon though.

I've laughed out loud on several occasions when he's proved himself to be a total fool, convincing only himself that he's come up with the correct answer

44 called a caller a doughnut and cut him off because the guy showed up his sugar tax argument, all the remnants and actions of a very spoilt bully of child, Also last week he really made himself look an idiot when he was going on about some book author and got every fact about them wrong .

you could just imagine the conversation around a dinner party with Owen Jones, Jamie Oliver and good old 44 and their spouses..........

Fanny saying this morning he's going to be digging out his In Conversation at Paul Daniels from five years ago on Sunday as a tribute.

Might actually have to give that a listen just out of respect.

Steve's got Boy George coming in today to record an In Conversation. I've never heard him say anything about BG that wasn't absolutely vile! Even Steve admits it could be 'interesting'.

Morning all.

Wonder if he'll ever play the Rolf Harris one again.
