1) - Could you give examples of people that hate JOB? Not just people who dislike his views or his style, but have expressed hatred for him as a person.
2) - How do you measure an ability to have the "intellectual capacity to challenge any of the liberal view expounded by JOB"? I suspect that many people have the intellectual capacity, but do not have the advantage of prepping for the debate. They also do not have access to the dump button, nor do they get to have the last word on air.
3) - How do you know whether the people were listening or not? Bear in mind that hearing that he will be talking about Brexit, is not the same as listening to hear him talk about Brexit.”
1.
No. We are unable to discuss forum members, so imagine for a moment that I am discussing 2 fictional characters in a film about Cyberspace/Social Media. Example 1 does not hate a radio presenter. He just gives an uncanny portrayal of the latter. By Monitoring the output and then ranting about something said 2 years earlier. Example 2 does not hate the sister-in-law of a presenter. He/she just acts like they do.....including attacks based on her personal hygene. The portrayal of relentless hatred is not Oscar winning but it is not bad.
2. Still with the fictional characters........Positions taken on a forum can be unhurried and may involve preparation. If the contributions are mind numbing and make no attempt to challenge political positions taken by a radio presenter....even after prompting.....I may form an impression about the JOB hater/admirer. Despite the clear implication of your words, it is impossible for me to say that the dislike results from a traumatic and unforgettable chat with an LBC presenter. Telling me that one of us is really angry and not noticing that the angry person is not me, and that the anger is so great that it may lead to the creation of a Special forum.....might be another small clue.
3. I am estimating the percentage of people not listening who are actually "not listening" to 15 minutes per hour. Hence the JOB audience of 1 Million (understimated by 20% who are "not listening").
You said that something is wrong on so many levels. Are you in a queue to leave a Multi-Storey Car Park?
