Good morning,

I received a reply from LBC, yesterday - saying that the Christmas schedule will be up on their site, within 48 hours.......

We will wait and see

I was really hoping for Ken Livingstone & David Mellor to be reunited on air.
Presenters have come and gone but I enjoyed their take on events and really miss listening to them as I pottered around on a Saturday morning desperately trying to catch up on household chores.

What are the chances of them being on I wonder?

Sadly, no chance at all....

It's sometimes difficult to get to grips with J O'B's convoluted thinking. This morning - ISIL thrive on telling recruits and followers that the rest of the world hates them. Therefore Merkel throwing open Germany's borders to welcome all-comers disproves this and took the wind out of the terrorists's sails. Stopped them dead in their tracks, did it? Or even slowed them down? So why are we mourning the senseless deaths of people in Germany? We know that the majority of Muslims condemn the horror as much as non-Muslims but that doesn't mean that measures shouldn't be taken to avoid similar outrages. And to suggest that some non-Muslims love these outrages because it fuels the fires of prejudice is outrageous.

Yes, I thought the same......very confused thought process from JOB
I think it's more like this.......

ISIS Recruiter: The western world HATE, HATE, HATE HATE you
Mrs Merkel: "Come refugees, come economic migrants, come to Germany. No
background checks, free food, free accommodation and free money"
ISIS Recruiter: The western world HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE you........AND they are
unbelievably STUPID!

Why not give airtime to someone who talks sense and has influence. JOB doesn't fit either criteria and is on five times a week.

Yes, good idea. Only thing is I don't think Nigel Farrage speaks sense, never has done, never will do, but of course this is my opinion. Your post sums up exactly why we all think differently, but at least it's LBC related.

Farage talks sense?
Looks like he is talking hateful nonsense. But in 2016 that seems to be just fine for some

He deserves to be on LBC, given the number of links you post about him in the LBC thread. Yes he talks sense and no I did not read the link to the Guardian; same as I do not listen to JOB.

Does anyone still discuss LBC on this thread or is it just an outlet for extreme right-wingers, Islamophobes and hard Brexiteers to spout their hate?

Hope not Hate: "We are aware of a serious and potentially libellous statement made about Hope not Hate by Nigel Farage on LBC radio this morning. We will not be making any further comment until we have had the opportunity to consult with our lawyers."

Wow. LBC presenter Farage made these comments while speaking to LBC.

I am still hopeful that a member of the public will find Katy Hopkins (in the archives) repeating her false claims about a Muslim family while broadcasting on LBC. What would Ofcom make of that?

Mornin' ND. I cited it after Landis dropped the link above which followed his post, #12619. An extract of which said:

"You may recall David Cameron attacking the Labour Party for this practice (during PMQs). The Tory policy is that Muslim women cannot sit wherever they want at a Tory political meeting and as a result......Muslim women stay at home instead."
Thanks Cayce.

I realised that and I was actually addressing the question to Landis. Perhaps I should have included his original post back there too.

Shocking that Nick Ferrari allowed Mr Farage to make those comments without challenging him, asking for the basis of the smear or offering the alternative view. In doing so Mr Ferrari could have left LBC open to legal action against them too.

Most people I know (including teenagers) regard cars as handy, temperature controlled boxes on wheels that get them efficiently from A to B.
I currently apart from my own business also do a lot of work around teenagers for past few years...and the one's in Leafy Ealing might well think of them in that way Gurney......
(however, what about the ones who go and watch the Middle Eastern supercar clowns in Knightsbridge each summer? nearly all teens and 20ish...)

as I said in rural areas they are essential but also the majority of ones I talk to are very into modern and classics...

have to go now and take a cold shower Phoebe's wound me up now...
