I am just surprised that everyone is so interested in Brendan Cox's opinions. What happened to Jo Cox was horrible, an absolute tragedy. But why does that make her widower's opinions on various current affairs a part of the national news, when the topic being discussed has nothing to do with Jo Cox?

I do not understand why Brendan Cox's views are seemingly being taken above everyone else's.”

All Mr Cox did was tweet his opinion, it was Nick Ferrari and Nigel Farage that chose to comment on it so it seems a bit odd to imply that Mr Cox is to blame for what happened.

Actually I am too Chin. It's about the only time I can stand listening to him these days. I'm just hoping he won't weave too many connotations of Brexit, Bankers, Trump and Farage into it.

Fanny Allen......oh he was off again today...

I don't care one way or other for the girl but she's grabbing an opportunity to do something different from her previous ordinary life so credit to her...so this.....

Scarlet if you are going to be in "our business" make sure you go out properly made up or we can get you out of "our business" who the hell does he think he is?

his "show" was an hour...yes an hour..punters should get their money back....

who is he? a man who reads the papers out at a time of day none of the other proper presenters would do.....

Would anyone actually eat any of his chocolates he gives as presents? They probably came from Costco as a bulk purchase and have been sitting and rolling around in the boot of his Bentley Arnage for 6 months.... yukkkk....

well at least I didn't hear him slate Meghan Markle today (though sure he did)
Suits is an average watch (apart from the risible standard stereotype hollywood Brits as evil manipulative villains vs the white hat straight up yankee doodles) it's OK ...but Meghan(Rachel) and Donna of course make it eminently watchable fluff......
so leave the girl alone....

Fanny's been pretty unpleasant about Daniella Westbrook too. I know it's only his showbiz bitchyness queeney style and it shouldn't be taken too seriously, but all the same it's pretty unfortunate what's happened to her and he's not helping.

she is her own worst enemy as well..same school as Katona who has had equal spite from him.... some of it's deserved in some ways,

like the dire journo Liz Jones it's everyone else's fault they are bankrupt except theirs of course living beyond their means and spending such means getting off their nuts on coke (not Jones BTW)..,.
they all seem to come out of it all ok and I haven't much time for them....years ago he was quite funny...now it's just very nasty....

It's your money and you can do what you want with it. But I would say that if you are going to donate funds to this kind of thing, think about how much good could be done with that money by an actual charity.

The issue being discussed, before it became about Nigel Farage and Brendan Cox, was the Berlin terrorist attack. Why not actually use your money to make a difference to the lives of the survivors- those injured by the attack or the families who have lost loved ones, by donating to the support charities set up to help them?

If you don't like Farage, rather than wasting money backing a ridiculous legal campaign against him, why not send those funds to support the refugees he disavows and the charities that help them, such as the Red Cross/Crescent?

This could be a pointless, bitter, nonsensical legal dispute that can be averted if the people who wish to back it financially instead put their money into something worthwhile that does good in the world.

Don't forget this weeks spectacular effort by Michael Sheen. From the Guardian.

"Michael Sheen plans to abandon his acting career to fight what he calls the rise of the “hard populist right” in Britain and beyond, according to a recent interview to publicise his new film."

I gather he had changed his mind before the sun even set....

you've just reminded me about trolling...

he's been defending Lucy Worseley the past couple of days and both times said that she'd been trolled about her speech impediment...
Fanny said and I paraphrase some of it (it was 5:30 am and I wasn't even supposed to be awake)
"just ignore them Lucy, they are sad lonely people who are getting kicks being vile and trolling"

said the man who is vile and spiteful every day to different people until he goes home alone to watch Good Old Days DVD's over a glass of prosecco...on his own until he rolls out more nastiness the next day...

can't see the irony there Steve?

and I still don't want your cheapo chocolates from the back of your Bentley either

Pure coincidence I'm sure, but Sheen has a film out at the moment.

Sadly they can't count on 'Sir' Bob any more. He appears to have jumped ship and conceded that Farage has a point!
