Lighten up says the person posting a pic of a biting dog.
Nah just don't get the levity.

The dogs are trained to do a job ... by people, they can be the worst actual biters but you won't see the teeth marks.
BTW, animals are my trade, love 'em.

This thread ONCE was an LBC Chit-Chat one, NOW it has become nothing more than a nasty point-scoring one.

You can respond to whoever you like ... that's not what I said.

That is what happens in a post fact world. The wood and the trees merge.

But to be clear....I rank your thoughts and contribution 100 places above a poster who says: "Whoopee! the obsession is back "”

BIB ... that's a matter of opinion.

I don't see how the thread improved at all. If anything it has become a political bore fest most of the time.

Did anyone see Katie Hopkins tweet about Carrie Fisher?

Yep, it's become a place for those with time on their side, (lucky them!) to find the merest of objections to make this thread an utter borefest. Politics being their priority in life, has possibly become rather a silly obsession for them. Politics seems to serve a purpose for the angry people who badly need a hook to hang their cap on, poor souls methinks.

Here is the tweet from Katie Hopkins : Bloody hell. Please don't tell me I have to spend my time on radio tomorrow talking about floral tributes and tea candles to #CarrieFisher

Not really sure why it caused such outrage although I see Andy Kershaw is being castigated for saying the reaction to the sad passing of George Michael was excessive. I think some people are looking for offence in anything.

Lets Make the Thread Great Again MTGA! Always plenty of LBC activity and topics to discuss and the ignore option is available. Sure we can all get along well. 2017 is a new start.

Things are definitely not going as James O'Brien either hoped or planned...

I have a love of bravado/not conforming, so bring it on. Be careful though, we have the phantom mod: alerter who will find any excuse to get trigger happy!

Are you a doggy walker by trade, Cayce? Just curious.

I enjoyed some of the replies
Which are unprintable on here

I wonder why she needed to say something like that at all
Insensitive and disrespectful

I run a Pet Care business. I do dog walking, home dog boarding, and cat feeding/visits. I do all and sundry as it so happens in looking after animals, and was trained as a veterinary nurse.

Indeed, the presenter who accused others of peddling fear admits to peddling fear. The hypocrisy stings.

That's a great job.
I have two dogs and they are truly part of the family.

Can you get BurlyBeaR back on board? I still miss him, although he went overboard in some of his commentary. And yes, I did warn him. Still, I miss his outrageous sense of humour.

Have been trying to find his info but it's proving slightly more difficult than expected, sadly. We need BB back on board!

I've been enjoying LBC over Christmas so far and that has included Nick Abbot's A-Z. I can't wait to get back involved and comment on the output of LBC in 2017.

The addition of TalkRadio has made my LBC listening hours diminish but I always listen to Ferrari and continue to monitor several presenters rather closely.

Best wishes to everyone and looking forward to some good old fashioned LBC chit chat - WS.”

Welcome back Wolfie. I too have been enjoying Nick Abbott's A-Z of 2016.
