I can see why many will get upset at his attitude. I don't know his personal circumstances of course but at times he does a very good job of coming across as a wealthy, middle class man who is completely detatched from the realities of the world. He's always talking over callers and just seems to love the sound of his own voice. He does these long talks but gets very boring.
That night was worse than usual because he was completely dismissing the experiences of multiple callers who disagreed with him because they had suffered because of depressed wages while taking the word of one single caller who worked at McDonalds for gospel because that caller agreed with him.
