..and the somewhat creepy hardy perennial that is his obsession with breast feeding.
Please don't remind James O'Brien of that topic as he will be unable to restrain himself. What he needs to do is to find some new topics as he has gone stale.

Just fascinated by those who knock the guy on an almost daily basis yet say they don't listen to him and switch over to some other station.
Yet they never post on other radio threads about what they're listening to but return here like moths to a flame to pass comment on JOB and what he has or in most cases, hasn't said.

I have a secret admiration for Mr Bangla's devotion and loyalty to ?his boss, J O'B. To most of us, James is just a radio presenter, those that defend him come hell and high water need a badge of honour for endurance, if nought else.

Hilarious piece by the Hopkins. The humour deficient shouldn't bother. You won't get it.

Yes I watched this clip. Katie knows how to fire the shots. Funny I did not know until recently what that expression about the ' animals foot' meant. A friend explained it to a group of us in a restaurant in a not very quiet voice. Much merriment.

Not sure why asking why posters who say they don't listen keep coming back so regularly to comment yet don't remark on what they do listen to on radio is defending JOB.
Seems like he's a bit more than "just a radio presenter" to a few people.

I say the following without being judgemental, back on you for scrutinizing posters on their freedom to comment without having to listen. They, like you, can comment equally if they so wish. No need to shut them down. But, heh I've always liked freedom of speech - no holds barred.

Fawning over Tom Daley I bet, oh dear! Old fanny eats whatever and relies on trays of tablets...the NHS is struggling as it is

At least Phil Vickery is left alone for a bit.
Something very weird happened today.... I agreed with fanny Allen....... over the war veteran's OBE..... or non OBE.... whereas Posh, Helen Mcrory, etc. got one.....

Yes he was right but I'm feeling a bit queasy, it's just not normal...
It may have been that grated cheese on tomato soup I had earlier I guess.....

Am asking why comment on something you haven't listened to.
Not trying to shut anyone down or curtail their right to "freeze peach"

How do you know if posters post or not on other radio threads?
If you have so much time on your hands, or indeed interest in other's posting habits as to check, i dont know whether to be jealous or sad!!

Oh Bangla to use your expression "cool your jets" I have an offering which doesn't incorporate the use of lavender oil on the pillow which can get greasy . Cue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Al8UHnjusq0
A lie down in a darkened room has advantages, too.

Takes no time at all to find out.
The main page shows all the threads and the time the last post was made.
They are listed with the thread with the most recent post at the top of the page.

You not going to attempt an answer then?
As far as darkened rooms go maybe they are best left to the multiple account folk who set up several imitation twitter accounts pretending to be a radio presenter.

Said before that I find it fascinating how many times posters say they don't listen to JOB and select other stations. Yet they still comment on what JOB said.
IMO That's kinda weird
And it really doesn't take any time at all to check other threads.
See how easy it is to answer a question.

I can, like you answer questions. I only tend to avoid when a poster has an obvious obsession themselves, Are you unaware you have weird obsession when checking out posters that say they don't listen to J O'B? Have you unwittingly become a hound dog on the trail? If so, can I alleviate you by offering a doggie chewy to get your fangs around instead? A form of chewing the cud - no direct insults intended.

Like I said it isn't rocket science to glance at a page I need to use.
Still no answer to my question Cayce?

Good to see on the schedule that Lisa Aziz is returning with the Morning News (Friday and Monday) and Tom Swarbrick back with his weekend shows as is Cristo

I hear that Douglas Cameron will be reading the breakfast news next week
I think the schedule is wrong for the weekend Cristo and Tom Swasbrick.
Uncle Martin beat you to it, but hardly surprising when you have to scroll through pages of petty nitpicking posts.

To use my communal garden language, it gets flying 4xxxx's boring on here for sheer pedantic nitpicking. I couldn't agree more.

I'm off work today so it's been Jon Gaunt on Talk2MeRadio.
Sure you will post on the thread for that station to tell us all about it.
Not much chance of that considering the embarrassment of how things turned out on that now deserted thread, and of course no coterie for back up there either.
