Lasted ten minutes of Farage tonight. Dreadful time slot for this show. TalkRADIO will be my preferred listening for the next two hours.

The question seems to have been drowned out rather but I'm wondering exactly the same.

They have played the trailer for Ferrari's programme tomorrow morning a few times now this evening, with Ferrari's voice announcing a big surprise in the morning.

Does it say what time? (I would presume c.8am).

When they build up a 'big announcement' it tends to be a 'so-what' after we have heard it !

I'm loving Farage. Listening now rather than watching Sky News as I normally do.

His day job is complete, his work is done 'Snowy', he won the British people a vote on the EU.....when Clegg & Milliband were saying 'You can't have one, you can't be trusted and anyway we don't like democracy'.............I'm sure that its been mentioned on here before, Do try and keep up 👍😀

The name is to do with Northern Soul yes. Are you a fan?”

She often gets a tiny bit flustered (sort of) getting such compliments but always takes in good humour and flattery from what I heard so far....sort of puts herself down a little as a 40s woman but don't think I'd get too told off...

Thanks for answer.... Yes soft southerner but my heart is in Wigan for sure.....

NYE was at friends vinyl soul night - Mod/Ska and Motown and Northern Soul......
dancing most of the night.... kills my knee big time as I'm hypermobile next day or two but just got to move when the music is on...

Way off LBC topic but my current fave track is Wade Flemons - Jeannette....superb epic song.....

I wonder what it will be as well? Perhaps LBC management want to add something to the show that is their flagship programme and presenter. Nick Ferrari is head and shoulders above the other LBC presenters in terms of media impact and audience.

Why? is the committee convening between 2200 & 0100 each day then? Are they even sitting post ?

I don't think there is any possibility of discussing the fisheries policy. I doubt if we could ever get back our fishing industry as it was before we joined the common market even if we finally leave the EU. It's,gone

Steve Allen remaining remarkably upbeat despite Christmas being over. He is already mentioning next years festivities. He's certainly keen.

Any bets on who Nick's special guest is this morning? My money's on the PM. She's snubbed the BBC by giving her first TV interview of 2017 to Sky News on Sunday. Perhaps this is two fingers up to Today.

Morning all.

He is still being paid as an MEP I believe

I get the feeling the announcement will be app related. Nick keeps teasing a 'clue' that the news couldn't be more 'apt'

Hmm, apparently it's something LBC related. Steve mentioned an interview!

'A new, big voice coming to LBC.' Please God, not Brian Blessed!

So it will be either a de-seated politican or a presenter/commentator who's got too old to be on TV.

Paxo would be great. Paddy Ashdown - nightmare. Perhaps they're giving Farage a regular weekend slot.

"Why don't you shut up and listen"
So said NF to a caller at about 8.50 today.

More Farage please. Thoroughly enjoyed his show last night. He was pleasant when challenged and seemed genuinely interested in his callers.

I have a new favourite at the moment. JOB, listen and learn.

And yet the conversation ended amicably. I guess the guy knew that Nick was not being patronising. Strange that some LBC presenters do not have that ability with people.

Great stuff. We all have to suffer for our art.

Waiting for the LBC announcement with baited breath.

The supercilious, patronising tones come from the one and only. Eg: J O'B, yesterday, said to a caller who had difficulty speaking the English language, "See you after article 50 has been triggered". Then cut the caller off.

Quite right too. He was ranting away, not stopping for breath and not allowing Nick to respond to his points.
Some people (and some presenters) don't know how to conduct a conversation.
