Mother Superior Sister Socialist Shelagh from the Parish of Widdecombe has or is going to be talking about the NHS and hospitals. I haven't listened but she does every day so why change now. If she starts nodding off again while on air, can her producer give her a nudge this time?
Brian works for a company that employs two presenters who he considers to be "Nazis"? Wouldn't it make sense for him to broadcast elsewhere rather than being a colleague of said Nazis? He also once worked for the Daily Mail. Does anyone have a list of other people or organisations that he considers to be "Nazis"? It's quite extraordinary. A bit like a spoilt public schoolboy pretending to be Che Guevara. While living in Chiswick.
You are Mike Rackabit and I claim my £5.

Agreed as several people ( including me) had already pointed out. BanglaRoad seems to be increasingly "forgetful" these days.
A great shame, but we move ever onwards and look for a clear voice of equality in the cacophony of tickets being sold for the ghost train while parsnips are seldom buttered.

She has managed to have a less than subtle dig at Farage already........"He said that you can come on and say what you like, actually you can't, there are broadcasting codes and rules and organisations such as OFCOM......blah, blah, blah"

It was said in such a superior, 'Head Girl' type way........a way that can only be delivered if you've spent the last 20 years at the Biased Broadcasting Corporation 😩
It is most unfortunate that Socialist Shelagh isn't employed by the BBC these days. I never, ever listen to any of their output so would miss her pandering to other religions to justify her own completely hatstand views. I miss Alison Bell on LBC. Would love to hear her back as would so many others. A wonderful Lady.

Orville the Duck would attract the largest audience at Breakfast as listeners seek the Traffic and Travel updates.
I am sure there are listeners that want the travel news, but there are a lot of listeners who are interested in the news as well.

The news that Nigel Farage is to have a programme on LBC, has attracted the MSM. I liked this sentence from The Guardian.

Among Farage’s current co-presenters are Nick Ferrari, James O’Brien, and professional contrarian and attention-seeker Katie Hopkins.

Quite. I would imagine O'Brian must be seriously considering his position at the station now. Is it really possible for a member of the metropolitan elite to work in a company that insists on employing not just one but two "Nazis"?

Is the thought of ditching a £300,000 a year job really something a champagne socialist can consider sacrificing in the name of his alledged "principles"?

After all it'll cost him a fortune to have the studio fumigated every day before he can use it.

Once again Bangles you miss the point 😩
It wasn't WHAT she said, it was HOW she said it, she was trying to have a pop in her own inimitable BBC backstabbing snidey way.....I imagine she'll come off at 4pm and share a packet of razor blades with Gobber as they lament the arrival of 'Farridge'....."with his own bloody show"
I imagine they feel surrounded by Nazis........Ferrari to the left of them, Dale to the right, and there they are stuck in the middle with Nidge boo, hoo 😪😪

You seem to be imagining rather a lot there.
Like you imagined she has spent the last twenty years at the BBC, that's imagined as well.

I think those principles can be regarded as somewhat flexible in such circs. I was wondering a few weeks back if he might be needing to 'consider his position' when the station began running ads for Uber - a business he condemned so persistently.

Still, that radio job needs retaining more than ever - tv is going to be out, judging by his appearance on yesterday's One Show - he looked so awkward, sitting oaf-like and speaking in a strangely inarticulate manner.

Didn't Clive leave LBC for a while? (about two years ago?)

He does sound a little offhand, almost bored and certainly grumpy lately.

Is any poster going to say anything nice about Shelagh Fogarty? I think she's a bloody sight more sensible than 'the bloke' that's on before her.
