James O'Brien in full sighing mode this morning as he starts another hour on his hobby horse- the junior doctors' strike.

Fantastic show by Nick Ferrari this morning. In the first hour the opening segment didn't quite go to plan what with that Imam justifying his comments and Ferrari scrabbling around to find something for people to be outraged about, but then Nick was back on form when he had the Piccadilly Line tube strike spokesman on the ropes about why the drivers were actually striking. It was very amusing to hear that their so-called spokesman didn't seem to even know why the drivers had walked out!
Some interesting calls on the junior doctors again and the segment about changing passwords was useful. And always good to hear Nick take down a caller, this time on media coverage of the Brussels bombings ("I've been in this industry over three decades and I know how it works, so don't try to get smart with me, chum!"). |

Yet again JOB has attributed the wrong quote to the wrong person, he does it often these days. His 'listen to how amazingly knowledgeable I am' attitude coming back to bite him on his fundament.

11 to 12 was all about fake calls from "microsoft" telling you your PC has a virus. One very ballsy lady was telling everyone how she dealt with such a call.

I listened to James O'B only up to the second time he said "hollybobs" today. It really winds me up when he tries to sound all soft and cuddly. I similarly hate the gooey voice he often puts on when he talks to the breathy, awe-struck women he sometimes has calling in. Not a fan, as you can tell. I am looking forward to the break while he's on his f****** hollybobs.

Love the chat about double standards Iain Dale is having at the moment IE if an older women has sex with a much younger guy its seen as part of his sex education, yet if an older man has sex with a much younger girl its seen as abuse.
Double standards yes certainly. Well done Iain for discussing thing this. In law this might be different but Iain Dale is talking about public perceptions. |

This Adam Johnson discussion has been very 1-sided in terms of callers. I hope they aren't doing what they do sometimes when James O'Brien is talking about drugs.
Some of the arguments about age and countries seem to downplay the seriousness of the crime. |

This man is just hideous. Egocentric, arrogant and a hypocrite. At least he's on the graveyard shift so that the majority of LBC's listeners don't have to suffer his bile and drivel.
) and Louis Walsh was right in saying she should leave X Factor, he then he suddenly added, 'Cheryl is very attractive'. A Queenie hissy-fit of jealousy maybe?

This morning Fanny Allen actually said that he hates people "mudslinging". Lack of self awareness in hyperdrive.
He also read out an email praising his excellent memory, told us about his excellent sight reading abilities and then proceeded to ask himself a question, realise that he couldn't remember the answer, waffle while his producer found the wikipedia page and then haltingly read it out while pretending the answer had just come back to him. For those that wonder why I listen, this is the reason. The man's ability to repeatedly set himself up and then make a complete arse of himself is brilliantly entertaining. Although I expect that's just an act too. The thing he could remember was the name of the airbase where his father worked which was also the name of the town that Fanny lived in at the time. |

Made me smile when he was insisting that his family was working class. You could almost hear his mother spinning in her grave.
![]() Morning all. ![]() He truly is the worst thing that LBC has got to offer and that's saying a lot when one considers the presence of J O'Brien on the same station. |
