Farage & Galloway would be good value
We'd need an interpreter for Tommy Sheridan, at least Galloways 'Jock twang' can be understood, his speech is very crisp & clear

Andrew Piece is great isn't he. Always reminds me of Spock out of Star Trek.

Whoops, I see one or two posts have gone missing today. Careful how you go folks, the politically correct phantom mod: alerter must be on the warpath again. A backward way forwards methinks.

Bangla, Galloway was on Big Brother dressed up as a cat, pretending to lap milk from a saucer . Not a good look, unless he qualifies in politics as a protagonist? Having said that, there have many before him!!

So what?

Hasn't stopped lbc and Talkradio giving him a gig. And getting elected to Westminster post BB. He is as qualified as anyone currently at lbc in the politics field and unlike the latest signing he knows how to get elected to Westminster. Several times.
Maybe he could pass on some tips to dear Nigel?

Did J O'B actually put the two together? I thought it was a poster here.

The tips shared could be, how to tolerate Romanian gypsies moving in next-door? A highlight of J O'B's conversation with "Farridge". A booklet/pamphlet was then sold on Amazon. No actual tome of many chapters has ever gone on the market yet, to show any depth of this subject. Can't think why!

Or Farage and Alex Salmond? You never know.

Not sure about Farage but Salmond absolutely despises Ukip/Farage.

Indeed. Well, six of his restaurants are closing. Perhaps next it'll be his mouth.

JOB seems so desperate to make himself known as more than an LBC presenter, he will stop at nothing to get publicity.

I gave him more credit than he derseved, clearly.

He did put the two subjects together, like only he knows how.

Were we not discussing Farage and Galloway?

Good observation mumbles.
A long time ago I wrote of J O'B being a frustrated, bored radio presenter. He's tried to get gigs on TV, but nothing has transpired in seeing him in a permanent slot. He just does fill-ins on Newsnight and little else. Certainly J O'B has a very active brain, but is limited to selling his 'wares' on radio. I think he tries to reinvent himself, currently aspiring to adopting shock-jock tactics, which may wash with some, doesn't altogether press my buttons. His 'qualifications' - leaving a bad taste in the mouth.

Welcome gladstonian

Yes, the Brexit topic only incenses people on both sides. This is unknown territory - so it is pure guessing games.

Fingers crossed that Nick A manages to broadcast for five minutes without mentioning the name Trump

Well put CC. The eternal post-mortem on Brexit before it's happened, when there's no actual body on the table () is becoming something mythical, not unlike Midsomer Murders.

I notice no one ever seems to talk about Darren Adam. Maybe because he tends to stick to safe topics and be a tad pedestrian and boring. The most interesting thing about him this week was that on the handover from Nigel, it was as if he couldn't bear to have even that limited contact. Maybe different politics

Darren Adam seems a very genuine, nice person. So, I feel very guilty in saying his programme content, bores the pants off moi. I'd rather go down the garden and eat worms than suffer, the insufferable.

Misread your post initially. Abbot and Farage would have no frisson. Farage and Galloway on the other hand...

Darren Adam is one of LBC's best presenters and should be on at a better time.

The only problem with James O'Brien being Jeremy Kyle is that he did have a go at that audience with the ITV series O'Brien. This was never repeated because as our past ursine friend used to point out James " was routed by the chavs of daytime ITV".
