I stand back in wonderment/awe how posters tend to over-intellectualise on political matters showing their profound underlying distaste.

The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that I removed the LBC tag from this page some time ago. I can now reveal why...
Earlier today I left LBC after an amazingly enjoyable decade. I leave having been their longest serving female presenter and I am proud to have worked there. I want to thank you all so much for being listeners and contributors to my phone-ins. I couldn't have done it without you!
I am unable to do my shows this weekend due to a family bereavement so I wanted to say goodbye here.
I am moving on to new pastures and I will let you know more soon.
I wish everyone at LBC an amazing future as they go from strength to strength. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

Yup. I reckon so too. She was there from the eighties up until those revamped car fix it phone ins with Gerald Sauer in the early noughties.

I remember Therese Birch presenting Jellybone in the 1970s.

When Petrie Hosken said he was the longest serving LBC female presenter I think she meant the one with the longest ego.

Wish she had told the LBC webmaster! She is listed to do the programmes over the weekend.

One thing about Petrie and acknowledging her faults inc. the faux outrage, she was never boring. I'm sorry she's going as Fogarty & Turner are more than capable of being dull and mumsy respectively.

Steve is boasting on how good his interview is with Boy George. They were both 'in a good place' and 'bonded so well'. Scheduled for Sunday, I hope George can get a word in edgeways.

Allen was only telling us yesterday how Boy George had 'friended' him on Facebook.
Rest assured, from this day forward, you'll never hear a bad word said about George on his show. BBF?
