Does anybody have any idea who are best buddies on the station and who are foes?
I know SA and JOB seem to have a bit of a 'thing' with each other. Remember SA gloating over JOB's appearance on University Challenge over Xmas?
The handovers at the top of the hour are always quite telling. Shelagh Fogarty and ID seem on quite friendly terms.
Anyone remember the exchanges between James Whale and JHB? I'm sure he couldn't stand her. Or maybe it was just his sense of humour?
Cristo and Petrie Hosken were well documented best buddies.
Anyone know what the current crop think of one another?”
Stig Abell and Katie Hopkins despise each other, mainly because Stig is the managing editor of The Sun (the paper Hopkins used to be a columnist for) and Hopkins ditched The Sun to work for their arch-rivals The Daily Mail. I remember Stig handing over to Hopkins (who was covering Bev Turner's show at the time) by saying "and now, here's the Pegida pin-up Katie Hopkins". Hopkins was completely taken aback and must said "Thanks, Stig" and continued her show. Perhaps that's why Stig has been moved to Sunday afternoons now that Hopkins has been given Bev's old slot.
Nick Ferrari seems to get on well with Steve Allen, and the two of them occasionally have a light-hearted or friendly joke at each other's expense during their programmes. Nick and James O'Brien seem to get on as well and their handovers are usually quite jovial but I doubt they meet up for coffee or anything!
Steve Allen, Iain Dale and Ian Collins have all strongly criticised James O'Brien in the past and don't like him.
