Morning all.

Just noticed - no In Conversation on Sunday morning, only at night, and Steve live is put back to 5-7am.”

Interesting to see that Georgie Porgie has taken a pop at ITV and LBC on his Twitter feed and that his Campaign Bus for Mayor of London has been vandalized and robbed during the night.

Yes. withdraw him slowly but surely and that way he won't notice and suffer withdrawal symptoms. He's too much up his own fundament in the manner in which he praises his own 'In Conversation with...'

5am has always seemed a strange time for 'In Conversation' . Steve's not lost any of his live hours so reports of his demise are again exaggerated.

I heard the interview. The future doesn't look too promising if she obtains her goal! Whatever next, gay men/gay women toilets(?), transgender, not to mention the longstanding classic hetero male/female standard differentiation.
'We' could end up spoilt for choice in toilet etiquette.

I wish him well but Nick doesn't have the best track record when it comes to successful TV shows.

When he first said it this morning I thought maybe it was to replace Wor Kev and Mildred Pierce's Sky News show on Friday nights as Mildred won't be available to do it soon. I must admit I didn't catch the bit about Thursday night's and the name Pledge.

Oops, this thread is going political again

At least, NF was honest. Apparently, plenty of the self- employed do it. Ken Livingstone is a infamous example.

Did anyone listen to IC, last night ? No-one seems to discuss the shows, in general, anymore.

Shame !!

I was listening to Clive Bull on the way home from the airport telling callers that he was interested in their views on the junior doctors strike

And not listening to said answers

In the well worn tradition of over-utilised discussion topics, i.e. Islam/Muslims/Extremist ideology, expect this one to be discussed ad nauseum going forward
It's already the lead story on the LBC homepage.

No mention of it so far on LBC - it's an old story - but well done for flagging it up! (:rolleyes)

Nick Ferrari run out of decent ideas for topics.....

Do you use a pen?? when did you last write a note....?

How far do you have to walk to burn off 3 custard creams or an apple??

Not a single Anti Islam rant today......what a relief...

Michael Fallon schooled him in minutes about EU rules....all Ferrari could ask is "Why would they make it hard for the UK"

Michael Fallon spouting on about, 'Remain' - stated that the Latvian killer who murdered the 14 year old did not have a criminal record, when he moved to the UK.

False - he murdered his wife & served 7 years in his own country. Disappointing that NF did not pick up on this - it would have destroyed MF's argument....

Happy Thursday to all x

Anything that keeps him off the air is OK by me.

Perhaps their parties need to have representation in Parliament. There has to be some sort of qualification or they wouldn't be able to get all the candidates in a studio.

Assuming you didn't mishear or only half heard what was said (I don't listen to NF), that is a huge and shocking blunder for both parties concerned. NF should hang his head in shame. That case was headline news for months, and the murder of Alice Gross was less than 2 years ago. I've always maintained NF is a bad journalist when it comes down to it, and here is yet another classic example of it. I hope Alice's parents weren't listening.

I heard the interview and it was exactly the way Crawley Cutie said.

Very disappointing from Ferrari and not at all good journalism. I'd seen Fallon doing the interview on TV earlier getting an easy ride and hoped I could rely on Ferrari to grill him a lot more.

Another interesting point that was made by a caller after that. Was the paper/printing company used by the remain team actually German and not even UK based? Ferrari also couldn't answer this but I am hoping his team can take this one away for investigation.

You appear to be quite confused over what remain stands for.

i thought that Tom Swarbrick handled the in- out debate very well and completely neutrally. I especially liked the bit where he said "All you get from EITHER side is SPIN.

I know it's not the done thing for presenters to criticise their colleagues but I have to say I love it when the veil of civility slips and you get a real insight into what they really think of each other.

Does anybody have any idea who are best buddies on the station and who are foes?

I know SA and JOB seem to have a bit of a 'thing' with each other. Remember SA gloating over JOB's appearance on University Challenge over Xmas?

The handovers at the top of the hour are always quite telling. Shelagh Fogarty and ID seem on quite friendly terms.

Anyone remember the exchanges between James Whale and JHB? I'm sure he couldn't stand her. Or maybe it was just his sense of humour?

Cristo and Petrie Hosken were well documented best buddies.

Anyone know what the current crop think of one another?

Stig Abell and Katie Hopkins despise each other, mainly because Stig is the managing editor of The Sun (the paper Hopkins used to be a columnist for) and Hopkins ditched The Sun to work for their arch-rivals The Daily Mail. I remember Stig handing over to Hopkins (who was covering Bev Turner's show at the time) by saying "and now, here's the Pegida pin-up Katie Hopkins". Hopkins was completely taken aback and must said "Thanks, Stig" and continued her show. Perhaps that's why Stig has been moved to Sunday afternoons now that Hopkins has been given Bev's old slot.

Nick Ferrari seems to get on well with Steve Allen, and the two of them occasionally have a light-hearted or friendly joke at each other's expense during their programmes. Nick and James O'Brien seem to get on as well and their handovers are usually quite jovial but I doubt they meet up for coffee or anything!

Steve Allen, Iain Dale and Ian Collins have all strongly criticised James O'Brien in the past and don't like him.

Cristo and Nick Abbots handovers can at times be fairly tense, they don't have a go at each other but you can tell theres an atmosphere. If i remember rightly as well Ian Collins and Nick Abbots handovers at times be a little frosty.

I seem to recall a time when Cristo handed over to SA. The handover practically lasted until the quarter past news and practically turned into a double act which basically consisted of SA putting Cristo down at every possible turn.
