Yes now all she needs to do is sound sincere as you say Gawd help us.

Not a massive fan of Five Live on a Saturday and with it being mostly sport tonight, I can see myself listening to Nick Abbot come 10pm.

Been reading the last few pages with interest. I have not listened for a good few months and the station seems to have changed a lot.

Steve had £20 on the Grand National winner! At 40/1! Jammy so-and-so. Jimmy Carr In Conversation this evening. LBC must be kicking themselves that it was recorded just before the Cameron tax story broke.

Cristo in for Darren this week.

Thought there might be more comment about the new schedule.

Morning all.

Was there an In Conversation this morning?

Steve indicated he'd come into money, he mentioned something nationally he'd won? Was he talking about this?

No, it's only on at 9pm. Steve is now live from 5 - 7am on Sundays.

Andrew Castle struggling with soundbites this morning. He asks about second wives and his reporter asked about homosexuality.....he can't get his head around anything.

He's no David Dimbleby, more Jeremy Beadle.....

I listened to AC this morning. I found him very interesting and clear in the subjects he was discussing (I heard him refer to the Muslims story, but didn't hear him discuss it). He was clued-up discussing Mr Cameron's tax affairs. The newspaper reviewer was also excellent.

Katie Hopkins fans (and those that don't like her, will also be interested), they can watch her online as the programme is being streamed live on the LBC website.

She said people have told her she looks like Julian Clary - and she does on the website.

Steve was playing very coy then, he said he had money for a rainy day if I remember correctly.

No, I was listening very intently I wouldn't have posted, otherwise

I am a fan of NF's show - but was very disappointed that he missed this opportunity to challenge. Wow, a glaring error !! It was blithely said that the individual had entered the UK without any criminal record

He does, indeed, float my light- hearted, nonsensical fun- boat

NA, last night, admonishing texters/ tweeters who were complaining that the DC topic was boring. I, personally, found his slant on the subject more interesting than those that have gone before....... He is quite the Economist !!

Oops, KH on tax avoidance

Happy Sunday to you all x

Katie Hopkins revealing a very thoughtful side of her when considering her children's needs prior to her major operation.

The problem is Cristo always tries to inject a little humour into the handover. It doesn't work and feels awkward. I get the impression he and NA are chalk and cheese.

Did anyone else hear Cristo going on in the early hours about how setting up/investing in an offshore company or one of these complex tax avoiding financial constructs was just the same as having an ISA?
In fact he went so far as calling an ISA a similar 'loophole'.

She had an incredible operation. I think she was on the table for about 8 hours. Then she had to go back and be carved up again because the wound got infected, I just wish she wouldn't keep tweeting pictures of her scar!

hopkins' one trick pony shock style wears thin very quickly on radio. especially when there isnt an intelligent brain behind her arguments.

I've seen a few of the pictures, the op must have been horrendous with the risk involved . One very brave woman.

Dipping in and out but has she mentioned if her operation was done privately or on the NHS? For a woman so seems so gleeful to see it's demise I hope it was done privately.

cristo last night - muslims ..

oh ok andrew castle didnt take long to flash his ignorance about muslim community and his prejudices .. well he'll fit in nicely.

hopkins talking to her lbc audience as if theyre imbeciles .. well she'll have to keep injecting the anti immigrant/muslim/*scapegoat* to keep her numbers up. one trick.

and swarbick starts with muslims ...

so the only presenter on lbc who isnt dependent on muslim/islam stories is nick abbot.

I heard a little bit before going to sleep. It seemed as if he didn't really know what an ISA was.

As the sentiment with which she opened her show was to state that she believed it was acceptable to avoid paying tax if one could, I certainly hope she did not use a public service.
I cannot comment on the rest of her output as this was the point at which I switched LBC off.

Let's hope she also levitated in, not using any road or pavement or crossing at any traffic lights. I'm sure she also stopped to do her fair share of litter-picking in Leicester Square, and popped in on several disabled and older people to do some caring duties for them. Etc.

talkRADIO was pretty decent while she was on, by the way.
