Perhaps going slightly off topic but this gem of an exchange between 2 ex LBC presenters is pure radio gold.

Notice how Georgie gets ready to exit the studio even before JHB has finished speaking!

Was certainly car crash radio to listen to.

A left-winger, Alex Salmond, has a weekly phone-in on LBC and I've heard him pedalling some nonsense as well (saying that Sunday trading laws in England was "A Scottish Issue" which he should vote on). How come you only complain about Farage and not Salmond also?”

A change in the Sunday laws in England could threaten premium rates paid to Scottish shop workers. Probably AS explained it but no doubt it was largely ignored due to the outrage against the SNP voting in parliament, even though they were voting to safeguard their constituents.
As for your question about why I only complain about Farage is because my LBC listening is only in the mornings and is confined to NF and JOB.

Neither George or J H-B came out of this interview gracefully, imo. More disgracefully. Her neck would have been wound in if she'd been on LBC.

Oh so because a change in the laws *could* threaten rates (what a load of BS) its ok for the SNP to vote in issues that don't concern them? Or is it more because Salmon is left wing and so quite obviously are you he can get away with saying any old shite so far as you're concerned. Hmm, I wonder which one it could be.

Are you seriously asking why the leader of the UK Independence Party - whose main purpose is to get the UK out of the EU - is important to the debate about leaving the EU?

What will you ask next - why is Jeremy Hunt important to the junior doctors pay issue?

Nick Ferrari's perception of divorce is that it can only be acrimonious.
If he is claiming that a woman will do and say anything to free herself from a smug and tiresome windbag then I guess we have to acknowledge that (for a change) he speaks from a position of expertise.

That was the reason the SNP voted on that issue and IMO that is the main duty of any MP. To vote to safeguard their constituents.
No lies and misinformation from AS on LBC as AFAIK unless you can say different.

The SNP are more full of it than a septic tank. The truth is usually the opposite of whatever they say.

Emotive listening hearing the verdicts from the Hillsborough inquiry. Hope the families can find some sort of peace and closure.
For those such as Kelvin Mackenzie and Boris Johnson who have lied about that day repeatedly, I hope that their cruel lies will never be forgotten.

SF laying on the gravitas with a spoon, she wants to name all the victims on today's show, which only shows the limitations of radio, a photo of the 96 victims would be a lot more effective.

Sadly with Bradford, Hillsborough etc tragic things had to happen before changes were made.....

Her inane questions and repetition aside - hearing from relatives affected by the disaster is very moving.

Apologies I misread the post. I misunderstood the OP as saying that Nick Ferrari was important to the debate.

I agree with the OP, Farage is extremely important to the debate and I I dearly wish he was on radio and TV much more often. Him and Johnson. Pleeease make it so. Pleeease LBC make it happen.

While the police lied and were generally a shambles, they weren't the ones actually pushing. I don't understand the mentality of people who can see its crowded ahead but will still physically barge the people in front of them. I've seen it loads of times at festivals. Its a pity the CCTV wasn't better in those days so they could have nicked some of those idiots too.

Iain Dale just told a woman she was undermining herself because she suggested JEremy Corbin should resign over Labour's anti-Semitism problem and he disagrees. Just because he disagrees doesn't mean she's undermined herself. Why does he regularly accuse people of undermining themselves or their arguments anyway?

ID used to be a school teacher, some of them can be a little dictatorial and think they know best.

Nick Ferrari kept telling the listeners this morning that there would be an interview at some point between 7am and 8am but it never happened! Seems perhaps Hunt booked in too many interviews in his plans to do the rounds in the media this morning and didn't have time to speak to Ferrari. Bit of a shame as I would have liked to have heard Nick take on Hunt!

It was relatively easy-going. I don't think it would have brought JH out in a sweat that he would have needed a doctor

Ah. I leave for work at 8.30am and by that point Ferrari was way into his questioning of Bernard Hogan-Howe so I assumed it wasn't happening. There was also no mention whatsoever of the interview on the LBC website this evening.

Probably because there were no revelations / more controversial or anything new coming from him.
