I wonder.... if Ken was not allowed to broadcast as a senior figure in the Labour party, but is currently suspended from that party... what do the rules say about that?

Interesting to know the full SP on Michael Crick, he sounds far more competent anyway than the current incumbent.

I shall be listening. Even though I'm not the biggest NA fan, he's never been short on intelligence.

In the meantime Ken has discredited his own party and will potentially lose them votes. Do you think LBC will be that willing to carry him after the referendum?

When Mellor and Crick were attempting to persuade Ken to apologise I found it difficult to tell their voices apart. They do rather sound the same....mind you, trying to listen to the show on a crowded noisy bus might have been part of the problem

I'm glad you said that I suffered the same problem without being on a crowded noisy bus.

So, are you saying that people who may not vote Labour, but will ?

Personally, I don't think it will make a lot of difference. Maybe to a few 'floating voters', but those people that have always supported Labour will realise that KL's views hardly represent party policy.

Yes, he's a sharp cookie, and the only LBC presenter with even the vestige of a sense of humour.

I am bored with it

LBC will keep this story alive- because KL is one of their own & will likely remain so !!

Also, Ken was verbally assaulted by John Mann during a live telephone conversation with JO'B.

Free advertising for the station !!

We only got away from the subject during Lucy Beresford's show. The final problem was from a gentleman who was aggrieved that his wives were, one by one, divorcing him, because he required Lady's & Gentlemen, 14 times a week

During the handover, NA commented that- No times per week was satisfactory, with a nice cuppa thrown in for good measure !!

Oh, well - we have Katie H next.........More outrage

Happy Bank holiday weekend to All x

Nick Ferrari, the man who says there are no poor people in Britain one day but when the agenda changes he is oh so concerned about all the deserving cases which he suddenly recognize.”

NF is a prize clown at times, his sneering voice, his accent all over the place, chummy cockney diamond geezer when he is on his right wing agenda (Muslims, immigrants, Brexit, refugees) and with public callers. Then he switches to concise Grammar school boy when he's talking to an academic or trying to be sincere.....

He is an oral version of the DM rhetoric and manages to rile and excite listeners in equal measure....

Having said that I do have my radio on LBC through the night, and I do listen in occasionally to NF when I am awake.

You seem to listen to Nick Ferrari more than occasionally, given that you feel the need to criticise so readily. Then again, if he riles you so much that you cannot stop listening, then he is winning isn't he. So we can see how the clown is can't we.

I think your point about Ferrari's accent is utter nonsense. The vocabulary he uses when talking to particular people might change slightly as is only natural but as for accents you are making that up. I'm sorry but that really is just bull.

I think he entertains and informs far more listeners than he riles- as is shown by his astonishing listener figures. Nick Ferrari is London's Favourite Broadcaster.

I found it difficult to tell them apart at times throughout the show. I was listening in my quiet home. I blame the similarity with their voices, and me not listening to the show regularly.

Yesterday's topic was mental illness, today we'll be delighted by a 'do not resuscitate' debate. Andrew Castle is a bundle of fun isn't he?

Was LBC going directly up against talkRADIO's 'The Unexplained' show then?

Quite amusing that Katie Hopkins is in for JOB. He must be keeping his radio firmly switched off if he's within the vicinity.

I'm not so sure. I can imagine him shouting at the radio and his wife saying "you know it winds you up, so why do you listen?"

I think Katie Hopkins has done a superb job on today's show so far. Interesting topic and some interesting calls. Andrew Castle's offering was distinctly more bland and Hopkins has injected some much needed pace and passion into this morning's proceedings.

Fanny Allen was extolling the virtues of Hopkins this morning. Obviously his latest best friend of the moment. Phil Vickery must be waning a bit in the Fanny Allen popularity stakes at the moment.

Do not resuscitate is a bit like how I feel after listening to Castles tennis commentaries

Bring back Stig and Mr Pierce.
