I've just got a Philips HTL5140 soundbar for my Philips 47PFT63309 telly and, basically, no matter what I do the audio through the soundbar is always slightly behind the image and, unfortunately, it's the kind of thing that drives me bonkers.
Both have the latest firmware installed.
I have the TV and soundbar connected via HDMI ARC but I've also tried the optical connection and it's the same issue.
I've tried Audio Delay settings on the TV with no success as well as tweaking the Sync setting on the soundbar, also with no success. I've tried tweaking the Audio settings on my SKY box, too, with no luck and the issue is still there when using my Xbox One (so, different input).
I was led to believe that connecting the two via HDMI would be foolproof and no delays or problems would be apparent... I especially thought all would be rosy considering they're both Philips products... ha!
Anyway, has anyone any tips for fixing this? Something I've maybe missed or is a slight delay just the nature of the beast when it comes to these things?
Ta in advance!
