We haven't seen him in ages. Or did he go back to France for good? I thought the character was back permanatly.

Anyone who watches and pays attention would know Jack quite clearly said goodbye to Ronnie and left to go back France. He is back soon.

I don't watch regularly, but I did see the New Year's Day episodes. If you missed those you perhaps wouldn't know but it was made very clear in those episodes that he went back to France taking Amy with him.

Thanks for the sermon, however when the show's as poor as it is of late, paying attention is a real effort.
