Yes, another Pat Phelan thread, but hear me out.

So I have been watching Corrie the past week or so and my heart goes out to this amazing man, who despite being a qualified builder and all round good bloke he is having difficulty finding work. Then that vandal smashed up his van, his only real remaining asset.

Of course a lot of kind posters on here have given their sympathies to Pat's situation, but in my opinion it is just not enough.

I am now thinking of setting up a "go fund me" campaign, which people will be able to add a small donation and the money will build up over time. When we raise enough funds we can send the money to Pat, which will help him out with the repair of his van and just give him some extra help to get back on his feet again. Plus he can use it for extra beer money.

What do you all think? I am sure he would be very grateful for our support in these difficult, harrowing times.

Anna Windarse would love to help fund Phelan - she's a bit skint though and can't afford to send him any money. She wonders if there's anythig else she could donate...

I doubt Anna will be paying for the repairs, after all she does have form for trying to wriggle out of paying up.

Oh go on I will pledge a tenner on payday, Even if that is only a few pints in the rovers with all his worries can't begrudge him a drink.

Good idea the money could go towards paying a hit man to rid us of Anna Horribilis.

Wouldn't need to be much to replace a wing mirror and a windscreen. A couple of his fans could pay for those out of their spare cash.

It pains me to see him on his uppers, when he should quite rightfully be dining on the creamiest of bries, paired with the fruitiest of red wines.

Anna should be paying Gail for the work joe did on Anna's house that they refused to pay him for.

Who else does Anna need to pay up to for theft, fraud or destruction of property?

This is why I think she's the biggest hypocritical cow in corrie. She ensured joe went bankrupt yet is judging Phelan for his behaviour towards Owen. Gary then acted like a thug.

Phelan blackmailing her into bed was wrong but I can't pretend I have any sympathy. Her and her family's actions led to this.

What she did to Joe was awful, refusing to pay him and driving him to the brink and acting smug and in the right all the time she was doing it. Joe stood his ground and demanded to be paid but was only met with a barrage of abuse from the Windass family. I loathed the lot of them during that SL. Eddie has left (thankfully), Gary has redeemed himself somewhat in more recent times in my eyes but Anna continues to displease with her horrible acts right up to the present.

Isn't it funny how the usual bleaters about multiple threads on the same subject seem to be keeping their silence here!!!!!

If she had any decency at all or even a conscience she should be on her crutches outside the nearest liquor store with a dixie cup begging for spare change. Regardless of what she collects she will neve be able to repay Phelan for the damage she has done to him. Put me down for twenty and apologize to him that I can't afford more.
