Under eye brighteners

I'm looking for some advice or user experiences with under eye brighteners please.

I have got really bad dark circles (that are genetic) and have tried practically every concealer under the sun to no effect, so have been investigating under eye brighteners instead. I have tried the usual suspects like touche eclat and similar over concealer coverage, but no joy. I have just ordered the Tony Moly Panda eye brightener but I'm not sure it will do the trick.

Has anyone ever used the Becca one or the Anastasia banana powder? Or have tried the orange concealer route?

The ones I am looking at are all quite expensive so would love to hear of some personal experiences (rather than professional make up artist ones) before I splash out.

I get horrible dark circles as well. What I've found works for me quite well is Mac's Prep + Prime Highlighter (http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/produc...ter/index.tmpl), followed by foundation, then finally their Select Cover Up (http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/produc...-Up/index.tmpl). A lot of the concealers and highlighters I've tried just don't have thick enough coverage whereas these two together do build up quite a good mask to the shadows. The only issue I find is that I get through the Prep + Prime so quickly and while it's not ridiculously expensive, £19 every six weeks or so does soon add up if you're looking to use it every day.

Benefits "Eye Bright" is good. It's a pink stick but blends in and covers blue tones well. Finish off with a covering a Powderflage. Lasts well.

Another one for Benefit, but this time for Boing Boing. This is a really good concealer. I have redish blue blotches in corners under my eyes. I use a brush to apply the product and a very thin layer, too much and it would show. Make sure you don't buy a dark colour, I use their number 2 and have medium to light skin.

I get really dark circles under mine. Going to try Benefit, as use High Beam on my cheekbones to draw attention away from my under eye area while using my regular concealer.

I really want to try this but not sure what shade to get. There's nowhere with a MAC counter near me

I agree with this it really brightens.

I've just bought a soap and glory puffy eye cream which I'm hoping improves my dark circles, has great reviews but nothing ever works for me!
