Windows Phone Tips please...
Hi all. I've replaced my mums lost android with a windows phone and need some help if poss please...
Does anyone know if you can change the text size that is displayed on the Home Screen's Tiles? I can change the text size for menses and text etc but not on the main home screen. In addition, can you have the old fashion keyboard where a, b, c is listed on button 2 and d, e, f is on button number 3? Thanks in advance |

I have a feeling the answer is no and no I'm afraid. I can't think of anyway to do either, but I wait to be corrected.

How typical is this. I'm pretty sure I just found a way to do this (enlarge to 225% and it the requires a restart which I did but now I can't remember where I found the settings lol!!!

Yep, if you need to get back to that setting, pull down the bar at the top and go to All settings > System > Display, then drag the slider to adjust the text size.
Only way of doing that is via the ease of access/magnifier - but don't recommend that, as whilst it works, its a tad awkward using the various two finger double taps/swipes, etc. |

Windows Phone is quite poor for accessibility options, My eyes are going south as I get old and decrepit, Live Tiles were difficult for me to read without my readers on when I a a Lumia 830 and Lumia 930.

Barely makes any useful difference then. Barely any difference on those two.Although I've only got the Lumia 1020 running W10M, so maybe WP8.1 handled it better. |
