Hi, I have a Sony KDL-43W. I recently purchased a wireless keyboard. It works fine with the TV but the on-screen keyboard pops up when searching the net. Does anyone know how to turn this off? Thanks

Have you tried going into the Configuring the [System Preferences] settings?

There's an option which 'Configures the settings of the on-screen keyboard', although the web page doesn't show what you can change using this option.

Thanks, but no option to turn off the keyboard.

It seems as though it's not possible to turn it off.

Only other thing I can suggest is to try to contact Sony technical support and ask them. If they confirm that it's not possible to turn the on-screen keyboard off, there's a small possibility that they may add that option through a future firmware update.

Thanks, will try that.
