Twice now in the last few weeks, the permission for apps that use the microphone and need access to photos seems to have reset itself thus presenting the pop up alert again asking for permissions, I'm on latest s/w version, is anyone else getting this?

It can happen on firmware update or app update, I haven't seen it recently but I might not be using the same apps you are.

Not seen this - and I have been using the public-beta-9.3 software!

So am I (9.3 b4), it happened after the last app update for Aviary, asking for permission to access photos again.

I checked which apps had been updated this morning and it doesn't correlate with those that's doing it, it's not a major issue, just one of those niggles!

Mine does it quite often (iPhone 6S Plus on iOS 9.3 b4). Lately it's been asking me to sign into iCloud and confirm sending an SMS to activate iMessage. Allowing permissions over and over again has been happening since iOS 9.2 for me at least.

Apple requires (developers) to do so if it changes the way or why it requires access on an update..

confirm sending an SMS to activate iMessage.
You must be on Vodafone, where I've only seen this message. On EE, Three and O2 the hidden SMS that iPhone sends to activate iMessage is always free.

I've just wiped and set phone back up as a new device and will see what happens, as it's all apps that use the microphone & camera that are affected.

I'm on BT Mobile. I've also seen this message being on Three. It comes up at random it seems, also I've never actually been charged for the SMS.

Never see the pay SMS to activate iMessage or FaceTime on EE or o2.

Done it again overnight, woke up this morning, to all apps asking for access to photos, camera, microphone & contacts. Now this is all apps, even apps that haven't been auto updated overnight.

So weird.
