I don't see a thread for this so though I'd start one.

Anyone else excited for this, it's her first album in 6 years! 3rd in 10.

Here is her new single 'Been To The Moon 'have' https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6iibMNsSRCE It's good but I like her slower stuff more.

This is her in a little announcement https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Cwudyw-rWxY

Anyone else excited?

Thanks for starting this thread! I'm very excited to see this news as I've always loved Corinne, even more so after seeing her in concert in around 2010 or so in London. She's a beautiful performer and her music is criminally underrated. I imagine at this point most only remember her for Put Your Record On, but her second album, The Sea, was incredible.

So glad she's back!

The Sea is one of my favourite albums. It's absolutely beautiful. I'm so looking forward to her next album, like queenofthemoon has said, she is criminally under rated.

I saw her in Leeds when she was touring The Sea and she was wonderful, her music comes alive when she's playing it live. Hoping to see her again on tour and crossing my fingers she will have a slow at Glastonbury.

The Sea is harrowing but so incredible. I love Corinne.

I always feel so sorry for her. She's had a heck of a journey in life and her music really reflects it. Her first album was so sunny, mellow and positive and then everything went pear-shaped from there on. I wonder what sound and content this one will have.

Lovely to hear she is coming back

I heard she has since remarried and I am glad she found love again.

I second everything that's been said. The Sea is such a stunning album, full of emotional and 'realness'. From what I can remember it was loved by critics but criminally ignored by the public however I think it still charted Top 10 in the US?

Regardless of sales you can tell the album was such a labour of love and one of my favourites of all time

I have her debut album and I was in love with it. Wasn't that keen on "The Sea" so i'm hoping this album will be similar to her debut.

I remember back in 2007ish she came to Isle of Man and in the Villa Marina it's so small and intimate I was right at front and I was blown away by her elegantness. She was lovely.

I loved The Sea but I did prefer her slower stuff. Sad that her husband died, what made it sadder was how delicate she seemed and that came across on some of the songs on that album. Looking forward to hearing this one!

That's what I really liked about her when I saw her in Leeds. I remember she came on stage and before any music and been played she introduced herself and said she was going to sing a mix of old and new songs etc. - she just seems so nice and down to earth and so passionate about her music.

I love Corinne and both her albums. Really liking the new song ... can't wait for the new album.
One of the few artists that really sing from the soul ... I find her voice almost unbearably moving. The song 'The Sea' absolutely floors me.
She's a great talent and so lovely with it. Her music has that 70s retro vibe about it .. but at the same time it sounds fresh and new.

I remember buying the original press of the 7" of "Like a Star" when it was out via mail order. Think it was her first record and maybe a limited pressing? Subsequently picked up her albums and The Love E.P. which had some great covers and that was about it until a few days ago when I bought the sountrack CD to "The Man With The Iron Fists" which is mainly Hip Hop (I like Wu Tang etc.) although there is a track by the great Mabel John and this from Corinne...

Not news but some of her fans may be unaware and the CD can be had quite cheaply.

Love her theme tune to TV's 'Lucky Man' The show has clearly bombed.
Sadly it appears unavailable.
