It's believed that people in WWE after the production meeting get people to put bets on for them.
Ok that makes a lot more sense. Thanks

How on earth did the bookies know to put Ryder as red hot favourite, their 'insider' knowledge is better than any experts! Also Charlotte was red hot favourite to win, when most thought Sasha. Though they didn't get Corbin!
Ryder, Charlotte, Undertaker, LoN, Jericho and Lesnar more or less as favourites by 6pm yesterday. Didn't bother with the battle royal or kickoff show, but did have a few little successful accumulators running. So WM was a good show for me

EDIT: I did get the feeling weeks in advance that Charlotte was retaining, because it's vintage WWE and why book a triple threat if they didn't want Sasha to wait a bit longer? Didn't think they'd pull the Ric Flair card again!

If true about the title in the spoiler, they might as well just play pass the parcel for it on the next Raw

I almost feel like the Ryder thing was booked as a surprise simply for those who were inside betting to make a few quid.

Just had to rewatch that HHH entrance. Honestly I'd love to know what the writers were on when they scripted that. Peak HHH Mania entrance - unbelievably bombastic.

I wouldn't be half surprised if that's how most Creative meetings begin.
"We own you. You are mere shells of humanity hanging onto hope". "We are the providers" etc.

Nice one

I had a fiver on Sasha to win @3/1. A fiver on Zyan @5/1. And a five on AJ @2/1. So i was £15 down for the night

I imagine Ryder was a huge price last week, some must have a fair few quid on that!

I thought "All hope is lost" was a very ironic line for Stephanie McMahon to deliver to 100,000 wrestling fans.

I really thought it made sense to have Snoop punching Flair when he was holding back Sasha, then she could go back in and win. That's the sort of celebrity shit that Vince loves and it would have been perfect to pay off the building up of Flair as an outside factor.

Like, they brought out a new belt, hyped a new era, had ****ing Snoop Dogg sing Sasha's entrance, let her wear gear and do spots in tribute to a beloved dead wrestler and then did a huge firework display at the end AND SHE DIDN'T BLOODY WIN!
If they put her over at the end, it could be argued that she would be the biggest star on the full time roster.

I think I said as much as the time.

One thing you can't accuse Steph of there was being understated. Honestly I love it when she's absolutely mental like that.

I wouldn't want to be one of her kids if they forget to brush their teeth after watching that.

Also, bears repeating that Shane's kids were absolutely adorable. Feel so much for them watching their dad jumping off the top of a cell. Must've been terrifying.

Yeah when she turns into raging bitch she's really entertaining.

And to be fair to her, she's pretty good in the ring as she showed against Brie Bella at Summerslam.

Did he really have to do that? It feels as though the whole reason Shane had a match at Mania was so he could do an extremely risky spot.

If he'd had won, makes more sense but he didn't.

He's Shane O'Mac. Would've been a bit of a disappointment if he hadn't done some sort of crazy spot.
This return (whether it's now over after Mania or not) really has shown he still has a real connection with fans and has even made it stronger,

He always has been my favourite McMahon.

Steph second of course. As you say as soon as she stops being subtle and starts being an utter bitch she's very entertaining.
'I'm gonna make you my bitch' still makes me mark.

Maryse. And Enzo and Cass for me.

Maryse would be around Dallas too - she was with Miz at the Hall of Fame.

Yeah I know. I suppose it's just a bit cringy looking at Shane do a risky spot in front of his wife and kids.

Lol.

Can we all agree as well never to invite The Rock back to Maina unless involved in a proper match? I think he has spent near on 90 minutes during the last two Maina's doing promos and wasting time.

I was so bored listening to him last night.
Absolutely not!

A live crowds dream.

Maybe different when you are there live but for me, he just does the same corny jokes and pretty much has done the same routine since returning the other year.

I much preferred the segment with HBK, Stone Cold and Mike Foley was pretty short but got to the point and was more effective/entertaining.

By all accounts the boos were deafening in the stadium, but on TV the crowd mics were turned down and cheers played in for the 3-count.
Thank goodness! Could have turned into a right shitter on audio had they left it intact.

Kinda wish they had given the superstars in the battle Royale entrances given Tatanka hasent been on TV in years would have been nice to suprise the fans with his music than him just being there with the rest and not noticing.

I hope the crowd shits all over Raw tonight.
Why shit on the show? If you dont want to be there dont go, dont ruin it for people who want to enjoy the show.

Um, you do know people who would be at the meetings where the outcomes are decided are putting bets on? Hence the odds are never wrong.

I don't think Tatanka was getting a big pop lol. And the show was going on forever!
