This is how Wrestlemania should have gone!

Anyone know if Raw in Glasgow is officially sold out or if TIcketmaster likely have some tickets hidden until nearer the show? I'm debating if I would wait longer or if I should get some "cheap" tickets on Viagogo or Get Me In.

Sky and WWE go back a long way, even during the height of WCW Sky stood by the company. I could see them working together which incorporates the network on the Sky platform thus allowing for Raw and Smackdown to remain on the Sports channel and the Network being apart of the catch up service, perhaps a discount for Sky TV customers. Boosts up the network figures and adds to Sky's package.

Further its not like Sky needs the money, they are posting record profits and as for the Champions League, UEFA are hugely disappointed with BT that there is talk the next package has to contain a reduce package to allow the likes of ITV to show love games free again. I doubt BT will offer the same again knowing it wont be exclusive.

I havent followed NXT much, maybe checked out the odd match but have followed it for a month now so was kinda wondering what people here rate the top 10 matches.

What has happened to Sasha Banks btw? As I said the other day, I have only watched bits of Raw since Wrestlemaina but surprised to see Banks not doing anything since. She is not even on the card at Payback

Maybe they are saving her for Summerslam but I rememeber people kept saying they were saving her for Wrestlemaina which they did but she lost when she should of got the win.

Haven't seen much of Becky Lynch either. To say they were in the Women's title match at Wrestlemania it's amazing how much they haven't been used since then.

WWE seems to be of a mindset that only one Women's feud can happen at a time (The one for the title) and that all the others can just hang around off the card until it's their turn to challenge for the title.

That's seemed to be WWE's mindset for a very long time. One women's title match and, if we're lucky, a bunch of women lumped together in a tag match.

When was the last time you remember seeing a PPV card that had two (or more) singles Women matches?

The one recent one that springs to mind was Summerslam 2014. Had AJ/Paige (the whole 'frenemies' storyline) and also Steph/Brie.

And I don't care a jot about whether Steph or Brie are good/bad and their various merits or otherwise, the feud between the two was far more entertaining than it had any right to be.

Yep and like you and Harris have just said, why can't they have two big matches on a PPV for the women?

Why could they not have a Banks/Lynch feud going on as well, make it really personal, have 3 matches across 3 PPV's leading in to Summerslam with the winner going on to face Charlotte.

I have seen more of Primo and Epico on Raw than Lynch/Banks since WM and that is a joke.

It is all well and good having Banks come back in near Summerslam but surely it would make more sense building other women wrestlers up on Raw and the other main shows along side the champion to make them look like a threat.

Raw is supposedly sold out in Glasgow but on the Saturday tickets went on sale very few were able to get them through the websites. Even I myself got mines much later on, i think it was near 10 oclock but the way people got them was through the phone apps, the Ticketmaster apps and Ticket Factory apps for phones had them all. Think of it this way, i was nearly an hour in after they went on sale, first time on the app and got ringside seats.

Tickets always become available nearer the time. Even for the house show in Glasgow a few weeks ago everyday there was tickets for sale on Ticketmaster but they were single seats spread out. The last time I was there I got 2nd row seats for £65 and that was days before the show so they do keep seats back. The best way to get tickets if you can is through the phone apps and they search right away, there's no security questions or things you have to type, it's instant.

Hazy if you dislike WWE's product so much that you constantly rant about it on here and bore everyone with your rambling posts, why on earth are you giving them money to see it live?

Are you planning on taking a megaphone into the arena so you can shout incoherently at all the people who are there to enjoy the show?

She didnt lose, Becky Lynch made it all about her and lost again. She should have let Banks compete for the title at mania and challenge the winner at the next PPV.

Does anyone here do WWE betting at the Bookies?

I always feel tempted but no idea how it works out ie if you have to guess them all right or if you win by the match you pick.

Im sure everyone could have made a ton of cash that year Cena won the Rumble and Rock won the title.

I totally agree with you Sasha should have won at Wrestlemania her entrance and the match was tailor made for a Sasha win although imo Becky could have so easily won that match considering that she did lose her last match before Wrestlemania it's a joke that Sasha hasn't got her rematch with Charlotte especially since Ric Flair screwed her over let's not forget she wasn't involved in the decision.

Please don't remind me of Bries acting.

It's just like backing a horse, or a football team. There is nothing to it. Although most bookies don't offer acca's on WWE so it's hard to make 'big' money!

Huh I don't know what you have got against Becky Lynch but I think she's a decent performer and I don't know what match you were watching but I thought it was a good match and Charlotte, Becky, and Sasha all played their part it's just a shame that the wrong person won imo.

Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Paige, Emma, Summer Rae and others. Plenty of women on the roster that can have other non-title feuds in the meantime.

Plus with NXT Talent like Bayley, Asuka and again others waiting in the wings for the call up. It's not like WWE doesn't have enough women to have multiple feuds.

Thinking about it, wouldn't it have been really good if Sasha had won the title at WM, held it until Summerslam where Bayley would get called up, earns a championship match against Sasha and then they could have had another match at the Barclays Centre one year on from their classic there last year at NXT Takeover.

They could have talked about that match last year to build it up, shown video highlights of it. So much material there to build up a quality women's match at Summerslam, would be a great opportunity to call up Bayley to the main roster and it just seems a missed opportunity by WWE.

I'd like to see Bayley have her main roster debut at SummerSlam and win the title from Charlotte. Then Bayley holds the title heading into WM against Sasha Banks (I'd love to see them main event WM), beats her and continues her title reign.

Hmm. I'd rather Sasha hold the title before Bayley and/or Sasha beating Bayley in a title match.

Mainly because I prefer Sasha over Bayley but also because I think Bayley owes Sasha a win or two as Sasha did the job for her in two successive Takeover shows.

Bayley winning the title would be popular but if she did win it before Sasha I think some would think Sasha was being overlooked.

I could see that happening.

I'm sure that Bayley's happy-go-lucky character would start to get on some fans' nerves and they'll want to see the title change hands to a more edgier Sasha Banks. So giving Sasha a title run first would be better.

I can easily imagine WWE to do a replay of the Takeover: Brooklyn Women's title match at WM 33. Sasha (the heel champion) vs Bayley (the face challenger). I'd just like to see a main champion retaining their title (clean) at WM. So I'd go with a Sasha win in this scenario.

On another note, who's staying up for Payback tonight?
With it being a Bank Holiday on Monday, I'm slightly tempted.

Probably going to watch it. Mainly for the following:

To see Vince hopefully announce the return of the Brand Split.
To see how Reigns V Styles turns out and see where Gallows and Anderson fit in.
Owens V Zayn
Refreshed Miz V Returned Cesaro

Hoping for a good show. Vaudevillains V Enzo and Cass should be good too.

I would but have up to be early Monday.
Will have some time that evening though so will give it a watch.

Not read the spoiler but does seem too like some people can't be too far away from returns at this point.

It'll be a good PPV. I've enjoyed all 3 editions of the PPV so far - seems to a sleeper hit of a show - and with the matches announced it should be good fun if booking doesn't get in the way.

It's odd that of the 2 generic PPVs introduced in 2013, Payback has always been good whereas Battleground no matter how good it looks on paper has always been dreadful.

I like the name too - suits a post-Mania PPV. It'd be a good name for the 'Money In The Bank Match' PPV too actually.

Watching my first WWE PPV in years live tonight - I normally catch the PPVs the next day and read through this thread as I view them (livens things up at times!) but I thought I'd break my usual habit by staying up late and by actually posting something!

Overall I really like the card and for the second PPV in a row I'm looking forward to the ladies match the most. I really think Charlotte and Natalya have the ability to pull off something really special based on their previous encounters. Ric Flair's antics during the week and Bret Hart's recovery from his operation & rare appearance have given me a little more hope than I had that perhaps tonight is the night Nattie gets some well deserved recognition. There's still plenty of time for Charlotte to regain the title before the perhaps inevitable showdown with Sasha at Summerslam. I'm presuming the European tour put the breaks on the Emma/Becky feud as a lot of talent disappeared from TV (this could have saved us fro Kalisto/Ryback on the preshow) but I'd suspect that'll pick back up for the kickoff show of the next PPV and if Nattie wins Charlotte's rematch could be on the main show itself. The women's division has very capable faces at the moment with Nattie, Paige, Sasha and Becky but the heels aren't as strong - you've Charlotte & Emma (with Naomi at a push, but she's lost a lot at this stage) really, with Summer Rae & Tamina providing extra opposition for filler matches. Not sure where Alicia Fox or Lana are at but no change there. Should Nikki return then as a heel could really help things. The other option of course being Maryse wrestling again.

I fully expect Roman Reigns to retain against AJ Styles. Gallows & Anderson being the deciding factor whether it's a turn on Styles or accidental mishap I don't know. It just feels too early for Styles to jump to the top and I only see Reigns dropping the title to a returning Rollins down the line or maybe Ambrose if that's delayed. The Usos could well get involved here somehow too.

Ambrose/Jericho - Dean needs the win at a PPV after his run so far this year. Jericho is much better as a heel but is aging so him over Ambrose makes little to no sense.

I've been loving the Miz & Maryse. She really has given him an extra boost. Cesaro is one of my favourites but I see more storyline in Miz retaining. Either way I'm enjoying this feud as it feels fresher given these three haven't been on many PPV's recently.

Corbin / Ziggler seems inevitable with Dolph putting over the younger talent.

Another bout that's fresh for me is the tag team contenders match as I haven't seen too much of NXT. I really enjoy Enzo/Cass but with the New Day being face I see the Vaudevillains taking this one via some Dudley interference thus setting up two new feuds going forward. Still undecided on the Vaudevillains - I don't see Smackdown a lot so missed most of their matches so far. WWE really has built the number of tag teams back up recently so a lot of competition ahead. They also promoted Puerto Rico so much I kinda want to go there, maybe Primo & Epico could take me out on the town!!

Zayn & Owens could be a show stealer. I'm edging towards Owens here but either way I'm thinking a long running story ahead for these two. Both have been fantastic so far

Kalisto / Ryback part 49 is the least interesting match tonight and by some considerable distance. I hate Ryback, I find him so boring. I'd love for Kalisto to retain and then why not treat the US title more like a Cruiserweight title for awhile. High flyers facing high flyers would add some fun to upcoming PPVs - maybe take Tyler Breeze in from the cold and give the lad a chance? Pretty please! Tyson Kidd and Neville will return at some point to be added to this mix. Maybe even repackage Cody Rhodes Let Kalisto & Sin Cara go at it for a while. I just think the US Title could be used to get guys who aren't always used much onscreen and distinguish it more from the IC Title.

As for Vince, Shane & Steph - I'm not even going to attempt a prediction...
