Problem is you don't want to end up at the opposite extreme where titles turn into a giant game of pass-the-parcel. I remember in the latter half of 2011 the WWE Title must've reached double figures in terms of title changes and it made the title look like an utter mess.

But at the same time I see where you're coming from. It does feel like Raw and even PPVs can be missed with nothing of consequence being missed - which it shouldn't.
Doesn't help too that there's next to no character development often or turns. The only proper turns (i.e. people that don't turn every time they sneeze) I can remember in the past year would be Charlotte and Jericho.
There need to be more turns than that - there's only so many times the same match-ups can be done with the same alignments.

I'm had him on ignore for months but still get the replies.

Best thing to do is to ignore him. Surely everyone knows what he's about at this point?

I don't agree with Russo on a lot of things, but he's always been right about one thing.

The title is a gimmick.

Its purpose is to get feuds and characters over.

The idea that WWE should book in a way that "makes the title look good" is absolutely and unequivocally absurd.

Yes.

Here's a way to prove it. If we go back 12 months to May 2015, ask every person who posted on here and had issues with me and called me names and said all those nasty things to me, ask them why they no longer post in the thread.

Do you know what their answer will be? Their answer will be that they no longer watch WWE.

Do you know why that is? Because WWE over the last few years has continued and STILL continues to put indie workers on their main TV shows and has wiped out the ENTERTAINMENT side of wrestling. Pro wrestling on it's own DOES NOT DRAW. That is why more and more people tune out every week, it's why threads like this get less and less people in them and when I was in this thread and was more active, that is what I always pushed for. I always pushed and wanted wrestling to be more of a pantomime and a male soap opera which it was for decades. The fact that those people no longer watch WWE and no longer post here means that I have been proven right and all the things they went against me for, all the things they rallied against me for.........it's ended up they no longer watch it. In other words, they said all those things to me just for the sake of saying it because the WWE right now in May 2016, is the exact same company it was 12 months ago so why are they not here anymore?

It's not cause of me. It's cause deep down what I was saying was the truth and they don't want to admit that they liked wrestling the way it used to be like me.

On an entirely unrelated note, every wrestling fan should watch Ricochet vs Will Osprey from NJPW:

Absolutely sensational athleticism. First time a wrestling match has kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire time in years.

When is Lesnar back? I miss the beast!

Hazy does make a lot of good points. But then there is a lot of digression and pushing ideology as facts. For example, it is Vince McMahon's approach that only the 'bigger guys' can front the company. But there are a lot of times this has bombed. It's also worth noting that ordinary looking Jerry Lawler had possibly the most famous chat show appearance of all time. Of course, Lawler was larger than life anyway, while Zayn and Owens are more average Joe in terms of character. Still, that doesn't mean they can't front the company as they are now as their ring stuff does the speaking.

All a matter of opinion. Either way, people aren't watching because Raw is completely dragged out and mostly forgettable. It's mostly how the big picture is handled and approached rather than the talent involved.

By Summerslam and hopefully when he comes back the Suplex City gimmick will be dead. Lesnar had become so stale by the end of his last run. The promos were all boring and his matches were all the same, some being the exact same.

Going to WWE Live at the o2 in September, purchased the tickets through TicketMaster. I just wondered if anyone has booked through them before? Do they send tickets out in plenty of time?

99% of the time when they do these teasers it ends up being a huge let down.

If it is Wyatt then who cares, he will be jobbing come PPV time

I know it seems churlish to criticise it, but you could argue there's something in Vader saying it was a gymnastics display not a wrestling match. Still I do love Osprey's selling. And I'm sure WWE will ruin them both in the end.

Re. Wyatt - Don't break my heart Stu I truly believe he's gonna get a huge push shortly.

I think the facetwatter nonsense is to do with wwe 2017 release.

It doesnt always have to be that way. I dont see why the MITB winner has to job all the time. They should be pushed given they can get a title shot any time.

He should get a push and them actually stick with it for once. Him and Luke Harper could be huge single stars if they ever bothered with them.

Yeah would not surprise me that all this Twitter shite is to do with WWE 2k17 as that would be a let down!

Wyatt looked quote interesting as a babyface when he tagged with Reigns. I hope they turn him ones he comes back and then give him a push.

Harper is absolutely fantastic but it's clear that at best he's a distant third in the Wyatt Family pecking order.
And given the Wyatt Family booking, that's not a good sign.

He really is an underappreciated gem - by fans but particularly by TPTB.

Let's just hope the Strowman push has long since been forgotten by WWE.
