You mean like how HHH appeared at NXT London when he was supposed to be selling a beatdown from Reigns?

They couldn't have used that time. Reigns had some momentum with his brief run as Stone Cold 2.0, which was then absolutely destroyed by atrocious booking in the weeks that followed. I honestly believe there is no way back for Reigns and he will be the next Cena, with everything that comes with - that means being cheered by the kids and women, and booed by everybody else. Any opportunity there was to get him over as a Bryan-esque superface is out the window.
