I think the biggest issue is the positioning of Shane as a face going in to face The Undertaker in front of what is going to be a massive hometown crowd.
To me, Shane should have come back to defend his Father's honour against his vindictive little sister and her power hungry husband with no Undertaker in sight. |

Remember Wrestlemania 2000? I think it was the one with a McMahon in every corner.
Big Show VS The Rock VS Mick Foley VS Trips.. those were the glory days. |

But again, I'm not saying that's a cal for the status quo.
So Rock'N'Wrestling 2. Yeah Vince will think Status Quo are a new group what will get the younguns watching. |

Fair enough. Think there is an argument to be made though about whether WWE should go with evolution or revolution (and I don't mean the WWE stable or NXT PPV).

Just to be clear, I'm not saying all is rosy in WWE either in a storyline sense of a commercial sense. I'm just saying each of Shane's points last week (in terms of the actual business) could have been rebutted with ease. The company, as a company not a storyline, isn't collapsing around a desperate Vince. It has a way to fall, IMO, before it stops being a successful brand.
Give it a week and I'll probably agree with everything you've said. |

I sense that's the way it'll be.
Things involving the Authority holding power rarely stick and the return of Shane did seem so random and WWE have so often had no plan around stories that I just feel like there isn't any plan for it besides 'we need an opponent for Taker and a surprise'. Still great to see Shane back mind. Always my favourite McMahon. ![]() You just feel that WWE could really do something with Shane if he stuck around. Quote:

Make sure you stay up for:
• Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston (June 2011) • A-Ri & Mysterio vs Miz & Swagger (June 2011) • Del Rio vs R-Truth vs Mysterio (June 2011) Or you could hack off your fingers and toes with a rusty butter knife. |

Undertaker is not getting booed at WM in Texas in what just may be his last ever match.
He could walk out throw a sack full of kittens into the crowed Tombstone D.Bryan and Last Ride a Granny and he wouldn't get a single boo. |

Yeah lol, I admit I love me a McMahon. Even Linda, she's so sweet and the complete opposite of her husband and children lol. I agree it should have been Rock vs Trips though.

Morning everyone staying up for Raw.
Opening segment can't hurt I guess. And it'll still be more exciting than Frampton/Quigg |

Also, Raw must surely be the biggest ratings Sky Sports 5 gets.

Really replaying the part where the crowd cheer and support every single hit your new top face gets in a brutal beatdown?
