Hi,

Had our 500gb version of the above machine for a couple of months but now having problems switching it on from standby.

Doesn't happen all the time but there are times when it just won't come on, we leave it and try a while later and then it will work.

Anyone else had the same experience? Is it a 'known' problem with this machine?

There are some references on that thread to this problem and I get the impression that this 'glitch' may be overcome with a software update at some stage..

I've e-mailed Humax to see what they have to say. I appreciate that there are teething troubles with new technology/equipment but I do feel that as an end user we should be able to turn the thing on without encountering any problem.
