Unlike my older 9300t humax this seems far less reliable recording channels.

I live in an area where Wenvoe and Mendip transmitters are equally as strong a signal.
On my old 9300 I was able to manually tune to Wenvoe and and any spill channels I could delete.
The T2000 seems not able to do this, it asks after tuning which to use, Wales or West.
I select Wales but there are always some West channels found in the EPG.

I believe one of my problems for non recording is, tonight for example the Humax recorded both BBC West and Wales channels of The Night Manager. And was therefore unable to record another channel I'd set up to record at the same time.
Perhaps this has been happening before and I've not noticed it but wondered why I'd lost a recording.
Is it possible instead of "hiding channels" to delete them as was possible on the 9300?

Anyone else had this problem?

Unfortunately for whatever reason there is no manual tune option on this box unlike it's close cousin the HDR-T2000 which does not have the extra YouView features. The "Region Select" option also appears to be a bit hit and miss from what I can tell.

Not sure there is any way round this. If Wenvoe and Mendip UHF channel allocations were further apart you might have got away with the old aerial in-out trick. ie remove the aerial and set it off scanning then plug the aerial in when it is scanning the part of the band used by "your" transmitter and unplug again once past. Trouble is these two transmitters seem too close to maybe get away with that.

I would have thought "Hiding" should have a similar effect to "Delete" in that the channels should not be listed in the EPG and in theory should not be searched when looking for a programme to record. Unless Humax release a firmware update with a true "Delete" option then there is nothing else you can do.

Is there a way to see what timers it has set up? If there is then you should be able to see if it has set up a duplicate recording for any programme and hopefully be able to delete the spurious timer entry. That may be a work around, not ideal but not sure you have many other options?

Thank you for the reply. It is possible to see what's been setup in the recording schedule,
However only Wales BBC was shown as being setup, after the programmes had recorded
both West and Wales then appeared in the schedule and as series as well.

I unhid all the channels and low and behold scrolling back in the EPG shows the record markers on the West and Wales.
You can't it would appear on this machine set up manual recordings as was possible on the 9300. So it looks like I'm stumped. I'll unhide the offending channels so I can see if they are being chosen to record on and if so take the markers off. This is sounding like a "pain in the backside".
