hi all - can anyone recommend a good product that reduces electrical interference? i've many leads (scart / power cables etc etc) behind the tv/dvdr/home cinema amp & wonder if there is a product that you have used for just that purpose?

The most obvious thing is to make sure that you have a mains surge protector/suppressor adaptor fitted.
After that then decent quality cables should be sufficient. |

It's often a good idea to use a mains filter - make sure that its one with a good level of Electro Magnetic Interference/Radio Frequency Interference filtering, such as this unit.
It is also a good idea to try keeping different types of cables apart, as far as possible. E.g. mains cables at running down one side of the equipment, scart cables down the other side an interconnects in the middle. I used to have a problem with my AV receiver going funny whenever the television (12 feet away) was turned on or off. I traced this to the scart cable from the TV being near to an AV coax input connector. Moving them apart helped, but was only cured when I changed to an optical connector. |
