It was probably just because it was tied back previously* but Alex seemed to have much longer hair than the last time we saw her which was a couple of days ago at most.

*I think, not going to bother rewatching to check

So much for Connor and his people! They way he was constantly mentioned I was expecting a big group of people. Instead it was mainly just the ones that had already been in the previous episode and the two morons with him at the exchange. That's right, just charge at someone with their hands tied behind their back and get headbutted whilst the other idiot just stands their waiting to get bit! They were like the villains from the old Batman show from the 60's!

No, but they were not to know that, and obviously decided taking their chances on the open sea was a better choice than hanging around on land with the walking dead, at least with people, a couple of shots or a big hit round the head slows then down or stops them, fighting the walking dead is a bit more tricky.

I am enjoying it, and to me, it does what it says it was going to do.

The show is called 'Fear the Walking Dead'

And so far I'm more afraid of poor writing, bad acting, lack of zombies and it being about human drama because that is cheaper than doing a zombie show.

The Emperor is naked.

Ok, so Madison is there to get her daughter back. And maybe her boyfriend, but to any parent, the daughter is far more important.

She sees that only Travis is there, and is ok with that? She knows that she hands them a walker, so there is no chance they will now just give her back Alicia.

She would never have done that.

Indeed. But we are just too stupid to understand that the walking dead, is actually the living characters. Instead of the ones who are dead. And walking.

I've always got that 'The Walking Dead' is about the human 'walking dead', but I just don't believe the show should be about humans vs humans most of the time and that when it does 'hardly any zombies' episodes I believe it is due to budgets and poor writing rather than story telling and understanding the human condition.

Ok, sorry. It is just me that is too stupid then.
I will never, no matter what the creators say, believe that what they meant was that the living are the walking dead.

Because that makes no sense, when there are in fact, actual dead people walking around.

Just caught up with this tonight..... can they just throw chris overboard or something??!!

The angst ridden moody teen is boring now, and he just keep doing stupid things and dropping them in the ****!

Also, once again we have seen hardly anything in the 2 or 3 weeks since the outbreak began, but these people seem to know one of the key elements already...

Spoiler
That everyone who dies, turns, and then comes back

That was a big reveal in TWD that was told to Rick at the CDC at the end of S1, and not revealed fully until late in S2 or even S3! Yet, these seem to know it after fortnight!!

Concur with a previous comment... no-one seems to discuss, or question what is going on in the mainland... everyone just seems to assume its all gone.. or if they are, they aren't shown... again, its just skipping things to show our group in more peril from other humans, not the zombies.

That's why it is a good title for the comic and tv series.

Because it works on both a literal and metaphorical level.

Agree with most here the writing is poor, although it's still watchable.

5 episodes in and no one thought about writing in a scene where Alicia shows her legs

This lot seem to be a lot more ruthless than Rick's crew - I think they are only around 2 weeks in and already they are happily killing and torturing other people and probably are responsible for the deaths of dozens when they set that horde loose on the military compound back in the first season.

The level of stupid behaviour is outstanding - mostly from the teens. In the last episode Chris flat out murders their captive (who is presenting no threat whatsoever) in cold blood just before they are due to swap him for their own people ... then Alicia goes and hides when the 'pirates' are about to fetch her to hand her back as part of the deal.

Also amazing that the pirates seemed to be up for the deal without planning to double-cross them and that in fact it was the LA Crew who basically were the bad guys in the exchange. AND that they somehow managed to get away with the f-wittery.

They already know this because Chris' mum told them after she had been working at the hospital for a few days. That is why she asked Madison to shoot her.

From the last episode of the first series until the latest episode of this series they seem to have caused problems wherever they go. That family were happily living on their island until they arrived and next thing you know the mum, dad and daughter are all dead and only the 2 sons are left.

I bet Strand wishes he had never met them.

Alicia was unaware that she was being given back, she wasn't even aware that her family was still alive, as the boat had arrived 2 hours early, after being promised they would be dropped of on land, that is why she was trying to escape. If she knew about it, she wouldn't have gone down to get Travis, as she would have known he wouldn't be there.

Also, the way i saw it, was that Conner was more reasonable, and it was the others that had done the killing, his brother and the pregnant woman, maybe without him even knowing they were doing it (I think Jack said something about it being all the brother, not Conner).

I must have missed that - I just thought she wanted to be shot as she'd been bitten and knew that she would die (and turn) because of that.

As I said, it was quite a big reveal in TWD, and when people who hadn't been bitten started to come back, that's when it got questioned.

As with most things in this series, its just been rushed and/or brushed over.

Working in a hospital where people might be dying regularly, and coming back, would make you more aware of it, than travelling the road and not coming across it yet.

To be fair, Rick and his crew have exactly the same disastrous effect wherever they go. Friend or Foe alike - if you meet Rick's team you are screwed.

The female military doctor in the compound (Dr Exner) in S1 had figured out that all the dead turn, regardless of how they died. It's not clear if she had communicated that to anyone other than our gang before the compound was overrun by the thousands of walkers that they had set loose upon said compound to cover their 'rescue' attempt.

Rick said" We are the walking dead" meaning The humans are the walking dead. I have always felt this way since the show began.

Back to FTWD imo this was the worst, episode of any I have seen. Slow, stupid & boring.
I can't except for maybe Nick, get to like any other character.

In TWD thread that seems to be the consensus. That Rick is worse than Baldrick from Blackadder with his cunning plans.

Still dislike each and every one of the shows "heroes".

I'm shocked that this is fifteen episodes this year. I keep wondering how they can possibly drag it out that long.

Considering how slow it is, I'm not surprised or shocked gawd knows why I'm still watching tbh.
