Does any one know what might cause wifi to not work on LG G3 with BT hub 5?
Hi last few weeks my LG G3 is really playing up.
Not sure but the wifi never seems to work any more. see picture here https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1471/2...15efa2b9_o.png if I turn it off it will connect but only for about an hour to cut out again. I do not think its my router because my laptop and other tablet seem fine. I also have the wifi to stay on when screen is off. |

I wonder if the phone is getting an IP address via DHCP, check your wifi access point's saved settings on the phone and check and see what IP address is given.
Is DNS / DHCP everything all default on the phone? Maybe screenshot the phone's wifi settings so that we can see. It looks like it's connected to the access point, but not being given a valid IP or something is blocking the phone from accessing the Internet like a bad gateway or DNS setting. Make sure the phone is on 'obtain IP address automatically via DHCP' and make sure the router has DHCP enabled and generally check the settings in that section to make sure everything looks good. |

Also check the advanced settings in the phone's Wi-Fi connection to make sure there is no proxy set ie = none

Your router should also list your phone in the DHCP settings page, make sure DHCP is enabled and you should see your phone's MAC address (same one as in advanced wifi settings) listed in the DHCP list on the router, along with the IP address that is assigned to it. You are able to successfully connect to the access point are you? It's just that you can't browse and the phone thinks it has no Internet when connected to wifi? |
