Under settings\network connectivity\more info
Mine shows strength at 50 Quality at 90 No idea if this is good or bad?? The hand controller is ergonomically poor, with the Sky + controller it was easy to hold in one hand and key in channels with my thumb, but with the number buttons at the bottom and the shape and no natural grip of controller I find this difficult to do. The Bluetooth one I find that pressing pause will do this for a second or two and then resumes playing when releasing finger, it appears far too sensitive and sometimes takes several attempts to do this. Out of the two I much prefer the non-bluetooth one though even that leaves much to be desired. |

I have decided to go back and start recording The Simpsons on Sky 1 since I got Sky Q last Saturday but I have noticed that the only episode that series links is the 5 o'clock one so the 6.30 to 8.00 o'clock episodes don't link is this a Sky 1 issue that has just recently happened.

I expect the 5pm episode will link to the next days episode at the same time, so if you want others, you need to set up a different series link. |

The box will record the next episode that it is told to, by a link in the currently recording episode, it will not just go off and record anything that is Simpsons.

I noticed this morning Sky Movies name also changed to Sky Cinema too. Hopefully this will include some bug fixes as there seems to have been a lot of error messages recently on my box saying no network connectivity when there is and I had to keep restarting.

I see update hasn't fixed the issues with Q app where it doesn't work unless you reboot the box. Obviously sky don't see as a priority. Wonder when they will, hopefully before Christmas would be nice.

If you get an error message say No poor connectivity that isn't a bug but could be an issue with the connection to the Q box.

It never used to be like that it's only recently it started but every time I've checked and the wifi is working for everything else. Could it be because I don't have sky as my broadband provider?
Not sure if it was something I'd setup wrong when with BT as I've read many using Sky Q with Infinity reporting it's works perfectly. |

I had BT Infinity and must admit I had several issues on my mini's with wifi , I switched to Sky Fibre and use the Sky Q hub and the wifi on the mini has been flawless.

Have you bought any new equipment that uses 5GHZ wifi? Songos, wifi home plugs etc can all ruin wifi. Moved any Q boxes on their stands? I moved a mini in my conservatory 6 inches and it wasn't meshed in the same way as it was before being moved. |

The mini boxes don't have a connection to the router/hub. The only thing they connect to is other Q equipment. If it's connected to your hub and it isn't a Q hub then that's a reason for issues. And just because your wifi is working the bandwidth needed for Q to run is about 40 MB per box without bottle necking, compared to a few hundred kB for websites. Don't forget the mini boxes are receiving a lot of data especially if watching data heavy content like SSN HD 406.

Maybe I have it set up wrong although the mini seems to work fine. It's just sometimes the silver box says no connectivity. All boxes are in the same place they were before. I noticed that when I moved from sky broadband each box now comes up on the wifi list so that would tie in with what you're saying.

Oh i thought you meant the mini had the on screen message. Hoe far away is your router? If it is far away try lifting it higher up that sometimes works by getting furniture out of its line of sight.

Bit gutted that Sky Q isn't compatible with the iOS 10 beta that is out.
You would think it would have been worth them making it available to ios 10 beta. Cause they could have spotted any problems that may occur, and fix them before iOS 10 properly comes out |

Not really much point testing something on a beta version as tht itself isnt the finished article.
Sky themselves will no doubt be testing it inhouse, but no point rolling it out to others. |

Mine is all working really well. Only issue I have is that the mini box sometimes won't turn on with the remote and needs a re-boot. Oh my puppy ate the Q remote but that's hardly Sky's fault.

It says that you can download a programme on catch up and it'll automatically download the next ep when it's available but I always download neighbours and home and away and it doesn't automatically download it or is just certain shows.

I would imagine that if you download and watch an episode of a show that's on every day, on the day it was transmitted, it won't be able to download the next one straight away because it's not actually there to download yet!
It's not like a series link, which will wait for the next episode to become available, it can only automatically download the next show if it's already there to be downloaded while you're watching the previous one.

Apologies for my misunderstanding!
If there is a series of Neighbours sitting available on catch up, then yes if you download one it should download the next as well so you have two downloaded, and then download the third while you're watching the first. At least that's the way it works on box sets, maybe catch up is different?
