When my contract is up at the end of May, I am considering selling my current Iphone, 5C, I will of course get it unlocked and Factory reset it to remove all the songs and apps that are on it.

It also has a £10 case I bought for it about a month ago, cosmetically the phone is flawless apart from finger marks on the screen.

So how much could it be worth?

Nah, good condition and CEX will give him at least £77 quid for it, more if it is a 16gb model or in truly mint condition.

I'd set my starting bid on ebay at £75 and my reserve at £90 and see what you get.

Plenty on gumtree, around £90-£100.

Whatever you do, remember to make sure the activation lock is disabled so the new owner doesn't have issues with it.

It'll be worth more unlocked to any network than locked, so as you say, get that done too

The phone is an 8 Gb model, Dad wouldn't let me pay the extra £40 for 16 Gb when I took out the contract.

That I'm sure will impact on the price

I've used Envirofone several times before and they are quick and reliable.

If it really is in mint condition it would be a waste to send it to Envirofone or another recycler.

please send me a DM if and when you want to sell.

i don't use my phone for anything other than calls, texts and look at my emails or browse FB and Twitter. my current phone is getting on a bit. i don't want a big flash phone, i like the smaller ones. also 8gb is fine for what i need.

thanks. could collect if local.

EE, but I'm tied in till 30th of May, I will be giving 30 days notice at end of April however, so any time after then, I would consider any offer above £100 (sorry, but I need the loot)

Local pick up from Sheffield, I don't trust the local Postal service to not lose stuff.

Depending on it being unlocked and good condition you should still be looking for £70-£80 minimum.

Me, don't get me wrong I love Dad to bits, but he's as tight as a Crab's arse when it comes to money, he won't spend anything he doesn't have to, and because I'm on benefits, he and Mum watch every penny I spend.
