Went off the reports on Revoo and went for it for £69; and looking good too! Great internal storage, 8gb so a huge improvement on my previous Sony Experia which simply stopped allowing me to download the apps I wanted (and couldn't transfer to the SD card) due to their size, so far everything I want has gone into the internal storage with room to spare.
1080 HD videos too > thought paying £69 was a bit of a risk for something I hadn't heard of (remember Teknica??!!) but impressed so far!
Nice easy layout of the phone and keyboard too which helps considering I never remember my reading spex.
Downside, tha battery life isn't great, thinking of getting an external one as back-up.
Go on, someone who has had one for a while please tell me it breaks easily, or packs in after a fortnight...??
Bye bye Xperia, thanks for the memories

Alcatel have been around as a bargain brand for decades, though they are now just a Chinese brand (TCL Corp) after Alcatel Lucent sold their share it's likely that Alcatel Lucent had a say in QC and design while it was a joint venture which should have carried over to the present.
