DTR_T1000 tuning problems
robbra
02-03-2016
I got this Monday as a refurb from Humax.
I have updated the software but it won't tune in HD between 105 and 120 nor 132/3/4/5.
I have rescanned several times but still nothing and there may be more I am unaware of.
I rescanned my tv and Tesco hd box and they both pick up all these channels.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Those channels are transmitted at a lower power than most of the other channels. Your TV and other receiver probably both have more sensitive tuners.

If you go to http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/coveragec...30+4HT/NA/0/NA and hover your mouse over the frequency numbers for Rowbridge you'll see the power being used for Rowbridge.
By the way the local mux L-SOT is also broadcast on low power but because it uses a different transmission format you may well find that your DTR-T1000 can receive the local channel.

Thanks for the reply, it did eventually load but it froze every day at least once, not coming out of standby or changing screens and last night froze four times so I have contacted Humax for a refund. I should have taken notice of the threads on here. Had a bad freesat box last year from them.

The DTR-1000 does not have a good reliability record. The DTR-2000 (and later) Youview boxes appear to be significantly more reliable.
